Other items I just read about the Noble Prize......There were 205 nominees for 2009. All nominees had to be submitted by Feb 1, 2009. B O took office Jan 20th, 2009, so in 11 days, B O brought peace to the world!! (Gag!)

Ah lazy and inefficient syndicated germans making problems for the new iron laydi Merkel

Spain the UK and Belgium do not agree that the inefficient german Opel factories should get the best treatment if these countries are requested billions to aid Merkel

I say let Merkel pay for all of it since they are going to close 3 sites out of germany anyway

This was not an earned award for B.O. as much as it was a final slap in the face to George Bush by the world. Sorry but B.O. has done nothing and probably won't! Just a new personality that really likes to talk who, quite honestly, is in charge of nothing. He is the new fall guy and doesn't know it yet. Nothing like taking over a sinking ship to take the blame in the end!!! As I have said before, "Brace yourself we have not seen anything yet." The filthy rich are not done sucking the wealth out of the world. It all goes beyond conspiracy!!! The ultimate control is about to be played out over the next few years and all the little sheep are going to be crying when they let the wolf into the barn!!! Sold down the river by all our own governments!

I do not even know my spelling is right but it is one of two most famous quotations
When Caesar was stabbed to death in the Roman Senate one of the stabbers was Brutus
( his adopted son ? ) Dying he said Tu quoque Brutus which means You too Brutus
( stabbing me after all I did for you )

The other is Alea jacta est . The die is cast . Said by Caesar when he crossed the river Rubicon which was forbidden to cross by Roman legions . No way back after crossing
the Rubicon
Death or Glory

I like best the address when Caesar is dead
Romans fellow countrymen; lent me your ear ; we have come to bury Caesar ; not to praise him  ???

Poor Arnold. He sure has come a long way from this:

To this:

Don't worry Arnold  the baboon in the fed will buy your wallpaper, because you don't look as bad in this  photo  as was originally forecast. You know, your eye brows aren't as bad as Andy Roony's yet.

What did Arnold think was going to happen when Kalifornia has a slavery tax code? I think it's on page 1 of High School Econ.   The productive leave the state or go into the underground economy. But the  sucking worm engine stays tethered to the system.

Of course the winner rewrites history
Some say Ceasar said nothing ; others say he meant Brutus was the next to be assasinated

Quote
the Roman historian Suetonius, who reports that others have claimed Caesar's last words were the Greek phrase "καὶ σὺ τέκνον;"[2] (transliterated as "Kai su, teknon?": "You too, my child?" in English or "Tu quoque, Brute, fili mi"

I had a matematics and modern language focussed education till age 18 ( I speak 5 languages and understand a few more )
And then 5 years of Louvain university more matematics and chemistry were they even tried to force philology and deontology down my throat
After that I had 3 years of Master of Business Administration with psychology and investment as major and minor
The only latin language I know is from my flemish language classes : because those latin sayings are considered classics .

On the other hand when I still worked for Monsanto I had realised a big project and I got like 5 americans all specialised that tried to understand what I was saying
one chemist; one mechanical ; one electrical ; one pneumatical ; one computerizing ;
I doubt they really understood more then their tiny specialisation part each of them

All my live I have been paid really to resolve problems and find solutions
The system of specialist is doomed to fail miserably
Last week I visited a stomatologist ( 11 years of education ) He wanted to take bone from my wifes hips and fill gaps in the jaw with it . I told him no way we would risk a total anastasia . He was totally lost
He said he could only implant between position 14 and 24 ( that is the upper 8 front teeths positions )
I asked him what kind of supperstructure with what kind of biting capability that would give . He did not know ??? He said a dentologist had to determine that ; but the dentologist had counted on all the bone being there on all the positions . So I send a german language email to the Suisse factory selling the implants and supperstructures for teeths . Friday they phoned me and said they would have a solution and
proposal by monday . Now I got of course a pissed of stomatologist and a pissed of dentologist , as if I care .

To resume . There are several people I would like to have a drink with . And you are one of them

In this world today it is truly hard to find a REAL man or woman. A true friend and a gentleman or lady with no agenda! I suppose its because most of them are here in our castle. The Knights and Knightesses who walk our halls know exactly why we are here! Need I say any more? Someday, if finances permit it, I know exactly how many new states and nations I would visit to have that drink and to shake a noble hand!

I can only think of 4 problems right now. Number 1 its Thanksgiving, Number 2 would be my wife and family because its Thanksgiving and Number 3 Its whitetail deer season in Indiana and my best laid plans of ending my season on Nov. 14 and 15th may not pan out and last but not least Number 4 would be the weather. I will have to keep my eyes open and see what may transpire in the next few weeks. Thats the best I can do right now!

If this is true that Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan were willing to pay 1250$ instead of delivering an ounce of gold and that they were refused because the contracts calls for real gold to be delivered ; then gold is going to double before the end of 2010 imho

Well that's different from bush. Not that he knew anything about the military. When he wasn't AWOL ( Deserter after 30 days) he was leaning on a pool cue in officer club. But this is really really big. You see that's proof that BO isn't just continuing bushy's policy of selling us out to the global plantation colonel. Let's give him another prize for that one.  ;D

They don't change their playbooks very much do they?  In the 80's and 90's bush sr set us up for the NAFTA screw job.  Then Carla Hills ( U.S. Trade Representative and hold over lump from the ford administration) came flouncing out from somewhere to gush about how NAFTA will be "good for America and good for Americans."  And then the "liberal democrat" clinton signed it into "law."

So just exactly where is this coin show going to be held. May have to do a little map reading and planning! Been a while since I spent in time in Michigan. Actually it was back in the early 90's. Took my wife up to Mackinaw (spelling?) I would at least like to take the time to see if it is feasable to come up.

Actually the talking heads in the government were saying yesterday the economy is getting better.  Meanwhile here in Michigan public schools have lost a sizable chunk of per pupil funding and will likely initiate huge layoffs.  They laid off 104 state troopers, but kept the all important DEQ Fisheries manager.  Nice to know the fishies are happy but we are not safe.

BTW gold was over $1060 a bit this morning before settling into the $1058 range.

If we have a Red October some are saying gold will decline some and the dollar and trasheries will go up as people panic and volunteer to run into the slaughter house instead of being led in by the ram and his spinny tunes. The idea of people running into the arms of the exact garbage that caused it all in the first place is so funny it has to be true.

I seem to remember something similar to that in the 1987 crash. Silver was rallying slightly  but then declined after the crash.  I don't remember what happened with gold. BTW, ASE's  have hit an all time high in sales this year and there's still a few months left in the year. Not to mention the U.S Mint most likely could have sold even more if that had capacity. And some ambition.

Kind of ironic that the small neighborhood banks that truly remained banks are still solvent and operating efficiently are still in business and making a nice profit while the greed of the big boys sank them like the Titanic! The sad part is somewhere somebody has all that money in their pocket. No matter what happens the banks holdings and the investments just doesn't disappear. One thing is certain INVESTMENTS are a gamble. I see Time magazine FINALLY is recommending that folks get OUT of 401K's. I have been preaching that since about 2000 and people just won't listen. It was nothing more than a way for corportations and big business to QUIT paying for pensions and retirement funds. Guess who lost on that one? I still see fools jumping on that bandwagon every day and quite frankly its like they don't watch the news or read a newspaper. I tried just last week to talk a young man into buying gold or silver and I could not make him understand?
Like the old saying goes; "A fool and his money are soon parted."

Another huge rip-off in the world today is telecommunications. If Verizon truly does have 80 million customers why is it still averaging a $100 bucks a month for a cell phone? The signals for everything are already in the air in most places? These greed infested companies survive off of the addictions they have financed through advertising and the younger generations are spending millions to constantly say NOTHING on their technological toys! Again, I just don't understand the addiction!

Kind of ironic that the small neighborhood banks that truly remained banks are still solvent and operating efficiently are still in business and making a nice profit while the greed of the big boys sank them like the Titanic! The sad part is somewhere somebody has all that money in their pocket.

And this crime against Nature of propping up the weak and stupid is hurting the strong banks who should be allowed to get stronger by taking the assets of the dumb at market prices. Mark my words it's a disaster to play games with "Natural Selection."  There will be hell to pay for these bail outs and it hasn't even begun.

It's not only a way for Korporate Amerika to quit paying pensions. The whole scheme finances the pensions of the Top Pigs who downsize a company to drive  shares  up.  Then the pig faces who fired everyone strike their opitions for millions and put it in an off shore bank. There's a bird that does this (The CEO bird?). It lays it's eggs in another birds nest and then the  other dumb ass bird will sit on them until they hatch. The best slaves in the world are the ones who don't even know they are slaves.

Cellphones are much cheaper in Ukraine and everybody has them.  They are much more reliable than landlines, and you don't have to wait years for the phone company to connect you up like with landlines in the USSR days.

My USA phone cost much more and it cost much more to send SMS messages which I have to with Ukraine all time.

The bank my grandfather had his money in back in the 1920s still is very much around, their only expansion was a very small branch in a neighbouring town - very small town bank, only loans in the community and still soldiers on all these years later:

Actually I am thinking of putting a CD deposit there sometime.

Signs of the time ; they start to sell gold at Harrods
albeit in 12.5 kilo bars  ::) A reinforced shopping bag will be necessary  :D

Mehdi Bakhordar, managing director of Produits Artistiques Metaux Precieux, said Harrods was the only location in London where investors could buy a 27.5 pound (12.5 kg) gold bar "off the shelf."

A merchant sailor passing a shop in Holland stepped in an told the owner that his ship was carrying cargo for the shop owner which made him so happy he gave the sailor a plate of red herring. The sailor figured he'd  go back to the dock with his "breakfast"  but before leaving he snitched what he thought was an onion laying a table. It seemed rather out of place among silks and linens. The onion belonged on his plate with the red herring.

The onion turned out to be a  Semper Augustus bulb worth 1200-2000 florins depending on which account you read.  Or approx 3-10 years pay for the average Hollander.

After seeing the bulb missing, and putting two and two together the shop owner ran down to the docks to find the sailor sitting on a coiled rope with pieces of Semper Augustus bulb sticking to his face. Hehehehe--only a Squid can do something like this. I'm surprised he didn't look up and say: "got beer."

Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds is a wonderful book. Barnes and Nobles was selling them for song back in 90's.

He may see the same thing coming back to him from the people who think they put him in office.  Too much taxpayer money  is going to treasonous criminals on wallstreet instead of beer  bums in the back yard.

The solution to BO's economic dilemma is breathtakingly simple--I'm sure there must be someone trying to get this information to him:   Let the garbage companies fail. Let strong companies buy their assets at market. The strong companies will get stronger and the economy will improve.  Then for a year or two, (during the election campaign) lets pretend we have   justice "for all"  in this  country by putting financial criminals in prison, if not dangling from telephones poles.

We don't have a judicial system any longer and have not had one for quite some time. It was taken over by the legal system which operates on a monetary system similar to what we call Wall Street. If you have the money you are above the law so I would cast my vote to return to some old fashioned justice! Been a while since we had a good mob hanging!!! This would save millions of taxpayer dollars if the do-gooders and rights activists were sent packing and common sense once again ruled the land!

It would be a fitting end to this joke they call democracy. Democracy was invented by the aristocrats to turn  mob rule against the mobs. It was a brilliant idea--let mob "A" tie up time resources and politicians to steal from  mob "B." Let Mob "B" use time resources and politicians to defend against Mob "A." Four years later let them  "throw out the bums" and put new bums in, call it something snazzy like "morning in America" or "the new frontier"  and simply reverse the order of offense and defense.

If you do it right the mobs won't have any time or energy to be waxing the grooves in the guillotine. Unless of course they run out of "resources" to steal from each other. IMO,  this  is already the case. It just hasn't burned through the Prozac fog yet.  Perhaps Monday--the 22nd  anniversary of the 1987 crash will be the big burn through day?   :o

Roll out the guillotines and grease 'em up with Old Yeast & Stuff beer.

Funny, I don't recall the SEC issuing a  "blistering report" on themselves or their 10 year trip to the break room.

PYW my little experiment of switching from trac ll razors to a safety razor has been an enormous success. It didn't start out that way since I totally forgot how use one. They made us use trac ll's in boot camp and I just kept on using them all these years and getting ripped.

I bought 100 blades through Amazon for $16 and now I got it down to where I can get 13 shaves on each blade if I reverse  the blade when I'm done and if I keep rotating the razor as I shave. That's pretty close to the same number I got from  trac ll's  @ $14 for 10  >:(

Oh yeah, you can't press as hard or go as fast with a safety razor as with a Trac ll. I found that out the first day after my face looked like it met up with  Freddy Krueger. But I'm very happy with it. I spit on Trac ll's and the thieves that sell them.

Freddy, there's a huge, fat, over weight belt where you can sharpen those  blades in the DC. In fact it's called the beltway. Give it go pal.

I am very allergical ; so dry shaving is out
I have used all my life the very old fashioned Wilkinson blades ( teflon coated steel ) in a 40 year old safety holder
When I haven't slept well I cut my chin

I get 14 days out of one blade by rotating like you do . Also the trick is to clean them under streaming water and only very slightly wipe them so as not to disturb the teflon coating . I use shaving foam which lasts me ages and milky aftershave to prevent rash .

She looks risen from the dead just like my computer. I couldn't get this thing to boot for three days and then all of a sudden it just started up this morning. If you see me suddenly disappear from this thread it's not for lack of Interest. On the contrary, it's all just starting to get  interesting.

I've been listening to talk radio for the last few days. Seems they're all in huff over Ron Bloom's  (the  Czar of Manufacturing, whatever that's suppose to be. Hamburger flipping I guess) Mao quote. "Look look! he quoting a communist!" And they're all in a tizzy about BO's demand that 25 welfare scumbags take a pay cut. "Look, look! He's dictating how much CEO's can make." Followed by dire warnings that pay caps will cause "top talent" to leave.  Really! They said that "top talent." They're not even as good as baboons. But I guess that's just another point for people to pick at.

IMO, as long a people keep following BO's bouncing ball they won't be able to see what's really happening. This country and the world are being taken over not by communists or socialists but korporate fascists. Not that it really matters whether mao shoots you in the head or hitler. What matters is the world can stop these pukes in their tracks. But not if they aren't even looking in the right direction.

Maybe after Nature slaps down the Baboon twins for playing with natural selection, I'll be able to get another computer for $29.95? Otherwise I'm kind a burned out on this Internet thingy. If it wasn't for KOTCT and this thread I'd be Long Gone longnine.  BTW, I think there was an error dealer once called   Long Gone Davenport.   :o

I knew a magician once who was called Davenport

Bank nr 100 , bankrupt this year in the US , is now a number in the rearview mirror

I was pissed off most of this week because a member of the american master race she could not understand
that a Flemish gave her the finger
They wanted to hire me for 8 days at 250$ a day and after I spend half a day updating my CV she asked for 9 years of references and then she wanted to talk to me about both . She wanted a specialist in Environment, Safety, Health and Quality. After spending a day for free allready
I said NO which most americans do not understand so I repeated NO NO NO I do not need the stinking money and I do not need the stinking stress nor agravation of being a slave at that price. Afterwards I got a plea for reconsideration from the intermediary of course who was getting 1250$ a day for selling me and doing nothing else . Whence I am pissed off because I allready bought 2000 $ of goldcoins  ;D :D ;D

Well never mind ; she can allways take two or three people at 150 a day  :D and they will probably carry her satchel . Last time with my first company the whole lot wanted a trip to Paris and everything arranged.
Which I did since it was not my money and company time . :o

The English used to make cans labeled bullshit repellant
( they had rose perfume inside  :D )

Those were the high days of London and Carnaby street and Speakers Corner etc

The pecking order with consultants is Certifiers of 9001 and 14001 first ( 1000 to 1200 euro a day plus all expenses )
First grade consultants 700 to 1000 a  day
Mediators 600 -800 euro a day
Independant workers with their own incorperation 66% of the gross take ( mostly 66 % of 900-1000 )
Independant workers with a firm that does all the government tax and social security reporting like me 500 euro gross

So my  "firm"  gets 1000 euro of which they pay 500 to the "temp" firm who pays me 220 euro plus travel expenses net having deducted like 100 euro for their "contribution"  paying taxes and social security and providing the government docs

Now in a "normal" audit I would be the Lead Auditor ; undisputed boss and final say , but at the mercy of the client asking stupid questions before and after which of course is non paid time . My non paid "service time" hovered around 20% but with a 3 hours lunch every day I did not mind . :D

In this case there is an american lead auditor of an international firm hiring a medium qual servicer who asked his brother witch is a bottomfeeder 6 persons company to be the headhunter who "found" me . So two "paid providers" in between
The american lead auditor is paying top dollars to the first in the feeding line expecting me with ten times her qualifications to roll over and sit when she commands so . I allready spend a day for free up front assembling CV and Qualifications which normally never are questiond in Belgium and then was asked to "discuss my CV and qualifications " with this third rate internal auditor ( I have 9 years international full time experience and am government recognised as legal expert on environmental matters for 3 jurisdictions )

I smell 15 minute fast food lunches and lots of make work paperwork after hours unpaid
So they can forget it cause not enough of the money reaches me to roll over and work 50% extra for free reporting and probably entertaining the american auditor for 8 days ; including scheduling a trip to Paris for the weekend . I have been there and done that for a fulltime mgr salary .
After my refusal my contact started including sweeteners like travel money and offered paying for my lost day that confirmed that the two intermidiate companies had in mind to screw me in the first place and were getting desperate losing all that "free" money . Once I say NO then I never reconsider unless they double the price and spell out in full the requirements so nothing goes for free . 8)

Shoot anybody who complains about giving million dollar bonusses to bankers since it is against national security

What's BO's  "emergency,"  Biotecs not hitting their ROI projections?

You see what happens when I get back on the Internet. Now I could have listened to the  Limbaugh on drama queen  radio after that report came out. It is sooo cool to sit there and  watch rabies froth seeping through the radio speakers.  :o

Kind of funny, but true.

Subject: Fwd: Fw: Stimulus Payment

Sometime this year, we taxpayers may again receive an Economic Stimulus
payment.  This is a very exciting new program.  I will explain it using
a "Q and A" format:

Q. What is an Economic Stimulus payment?
A.  It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.

Q.  Where will the government get this money?
A.  From taxpayers.

Q.  So the government is giving me back my own money?
A.  Only a smidgen.

Q.  What is the purpose of this payment?
A.  The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a
high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.

Q.  But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?
A.  Shut up.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the US economy by
spending your stimulus check wisely:

*      If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, the money will go
to China .
*      If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the Arabs.
*      If you purchase a computer, it will go to India .
*      If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico ,
Honduras and Guatemala .
*      If you buy a car, it will go to Japan .
*      If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan .
*      If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go to
management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

Instead, keep the money in America by:

1      spending it at yard sales, or
2      going to ball games, or
3      spending it on prostitutes, or
4      beer, or
5      tattoos.

(These are the only American businesses still operating in the US .)

I'm going to go to a ball game with a tattooed prostitute that I met at
a yard sale and we're going to drink beer all day!

Detroit house auction flops for urban wasteland
Sun Oct 25, 2009 4:07pm EDT
By Kevin Krolicki

DETROIT (Reuters) – In a crowded ballroom next to a bankrupt casino, what remains of the Detroit property market was being picked over by speculators and mostly discarded.

After five hours of calling out a drumbeat of "no bid" for properties listed in an auction book as thick as a city phone directory, the energy of the county auctioneer began to flag.

"OK," he said. "We only have 300 more pages to go."

Detroit is going to be an interesting dilemma for BO. Option #1 If he bails them out in any way there will be about 10,000 other cities with their hands out. I'm beginning to see why the  sea hag from San Francisco had so much interest in saving GM. That nexus stuff worked so well for Kalifornia for collecting sales taxes, why not for collecting a bail out?--We have established a nexus with Detroit by helping GM, give us money.

Option #2  BO  and Michigan do nothing to save Detroit, and it is left to it's own devices. It will become a 100% black market  city with no rules, no regulations, no government lumps driving around bothering people-- unless they have a fetish for getting their eyes dotted with a 9mm.  Lots of chaos, anarchy and feudal wars. It would be like a third world street bazaar where vendors have to sell things that people actually need and want rather than things that the  Pork Rind Czar says is mandatory to buy.

Wait just one second here...[scratch head]. Isn't this what a free market would look like if it was really free? We can't have that in Amerika.  By God, do know what could even happen? People might get together and buy abandoned buildings from the city. They might start running their own factories and competing with china. This is going down hill fast now.  Doesn't anyone remember how the Italians found hidden shoe factories back in the 80's. The little bastards were producing shoes without any government supervision and without filling out the proper pile of papers.

It could even get worse. People might pool their own money and just issue themselves stock certificates without getting them blessed first by a golden sach-bag.  Oh that's it!!!!   Option #3 Send in the Guard and declare martial law.
