I don't know exactly where humpy lives but I'd guess distance would be approx 45 - 50 Km.

Yeah.......use 30 miles as the crow fly's.    Not a long trip.

I live North of Brisbane and Nevol lives South of Brisbane

Keep your eye open for a cardboard box Nancy

Actually thought of doing that on Sunday but ran out of time.

Isn't it better getting a surprise package in the mail though!

Woohoo!! Pet Set arrived today. It's really a great achievement & a lovely set of 'Knights' to behold. I just have to think of some novel places to take it to show it the sights.

Sir Barry, wouldn't it have been qicker to just drive over and drop it off at her residence?  Heck, up around here we go that far in the mornings just for coffee.

G'day Old Dan, I think you would quickly change your mind if you had to drive from one side of Brisbane to the other to make the delivery ;D
Poor old Brissy is probably the most gridlocked city in Oz ???

Dirve? Shoot Old Dan was going to hike or take his trusty steed on that little venture. Out there where Old Dan lives they would walk that far to school, when he was a kid and it was uphill both ways!

Actually, I've got a smaller box that I'll probably use to send it on.  It's quite sturdy & should suit the job nicely.

OK, after much *&%#@^%*&@&*, there are some new Pet Set photos in the Gallery. The next recipient is Sap, and if my plan goes ahead he will have custody of it tonight.

G'day all!!!
Pet  Set still alive and maybe well. We have done the rounds of the pubs and clubs, (all Five), OK ,so we went round twice.
Some photo's have been sent to 'humpybong' who has kindly agreed to post them for me to the Forum Site.
By late this afternoon (Oz time) the sacred item wil be winging its' way to Perth in Western Australia. Hopefully for delivery to 'triggersmob' by Friday. Thanks to 'buda' for its' safe delivery to Nanango.

I would like to thank the Knights for the privilege of hosting the Pet Set. I felt like a film producer, driving around looking for photo sites with my neighbour. Somehow between shoots we always seemed to end up back at the bar of the local RSL (Returned Services League) Club. We spent so much time ther we forgot to get a photo of it.

Estimated milage in this area, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Brisbane - Charters Towers = 720 miles.
Charters Towers - Nanango =840 miles.
Nanango - Perth = 2240.

Cheers all, thanks for the honour. :) :) :) :) :)

regards,  muckeye ;)

It will be an honor as well to see the set again some day just knowing Knights all over the world have held it in their hands. What a journey those coins are making!

Brought some rain with it from Queensland.

Great looking set, Twoshadows. You did a fantastic job.

I will try to get some pictures up soon.

I hope that ex Queensland rain was welcome.  ;)

Certain part of this state are heartily sick of the sight of it.  ;D ;D

I just wish the rain would fall in the right place, out west & in the catchment areas. Not much chop falling on the cities.

My tank overflows every time we get a heavy shower, the silly installers left something out when they connected the overflow pipe & it doesn't work properly. Trying to cut corners & costs I guess.

Oops, way off topic. Belt up Nancy!

Nancy we Hoosiers are sitting here right now waiting for severe thunderstorms to arrive. Tornado warnings have been posted and its in the middle of winter? We get freezing rain, then snow and then it warms up to rain. Of course the warmer air brings the storms and the storms breed tornadoes. Seems like we can't win for losing this winter. Anybody got a "good sunny day" for sale?

Queensland is called the 'Sunshine State', but there's been a distinct lack of sunshine recently. It's crazy, we're in the middle of a drought, have really tough water restrictions, there's heaps of rain around, just not in the right places.   >:(

Over 60% of the State was flooded just 2 wks ago. Parts of North Queensland's annual rainfall figure is some staggering amount, I think something like over 3 meters per year.   ::) ::)

Hermit, Rusty or Buda will probably know the data exactly as they're NQ locals. One ex North Queenslander I spoke to recently said when he lived in Innisfail, he had to mow the lawn twice a week!  I thought once a fortnight was a bit much.  ;D

Well after a much needed the rest in sunny Western Australia, the sea turtle is once again heading west across the Indian Ocean, with the Pet Set on his back.
This time he headed to Renal in Turkey, a journey of about 7500 Miles or 12000 KM.

I am honoured to have been able to host Excalibur and I hope it makes it safely to Turkey.

Keep an eye out for the Turtle, Renal, he may be struggling by the time he gets there.
