My personal opinion is that we simply don't have enough members to justify having a 'chat' function, so I would vote to eliminate it completely.

I think we need the Castle Chat in a menu item on its own.    Currently CHAT is only on one page so when you leave it ...out of sight out of mind.

If it was a menu item that came up each time you checked unread posts since last visit....maybe people will use it more.

I have tried to chat but as members are not viewing first page then they do not see that I am trying to contact them.

I see what your saying but, what we have here is a chatroom not an instant messenger. It would be impractical to invest the time re-engineering this modification. I'm still looking for something that resembles the other chat we had. It was like a private phone call and I think their were a lot more using it. Their are a lot of coders out there and I'll find one sooner or later.
