Argentina

Argentina will be overhauling its banknotes. The new President has changed course from the Kirchner adminstration that had refused to issue ''higher'' denominations than the 100 Peso note (which is worth US-$ 7).
This year, they will introduce a 200 Peso and a 500 Peso Note. In 2017, 20, 50, 100 and a 1000 (!) Peso note are expected to follow.
Avoiding political wrangling/fights/struggles the theme of the new banknote series is Argentina's fauna and flora.

The coins will also get an overhaul. Probably in 2017. 5 and 10 Peso coins will be issued.

Nice notes and very colourful.
Everyone seems to be going for brighter notes these days.

Yes. Being brighter is clearly the current trend in banknote design.
