Templer come and get your O'snow back.!!!

We got about 8 to 15 inches of snow yesterday, depending on where on the mountain you live. I just know templer is the fellow responsible for this.

Wow! I was about to say we got hammered by snow here in MO too. But we probably only got 6, so it sounds like we got off easy.

Snow? What's that stuff? (Only 1" on the ground) Global warming has arrived.....at a minus 9 F at 10 AM. But it will warm sometime today to a minus 2 F, expected to be our high temp.

Snow? I don't know anything about it this year. Oregon has been uncharacteristically warm this "winter". Last few days have been in the mid 60's F.

Snow is about knee deep now but the good news it the high will be 9 today.

So I reckon we can keep it around for a few more days.

Got down to 0 degrees or maybe 2 or 3 below last night. Forecast is it's supposed to turn cold tonight.

Maybe get 10 or 15 below tonight. A man will need a jacket if he goes out in the morning. Cooooooooooooooooold

One place say's it's -3 while another place is saying it's -15. All I know it's cold. Looks like more snow tonight. 3 to 5 or maybe 8 inches.

I think I need to go stay with Goose till the weather clears up around here.

S'not too bad here. Temp now at 11 am is + 18. The lower 48's coldest temp yesterday was - 32 F in Cotton, Minn. Nearby, a town called Embarress was - 31 F. Cotton? Embarress? We also have towns of Ball Club and Frost. But, I think the weirdest named town is Blue Ball, Penn.

I goofed on the above post......it was -42 (not - 32) in Cotton and - 41 (not -31) in Embarrass, Minn yesterday. Well, it's a Friday......anything could happen.

Heat wave is here.

Warmed up 25 degrease overnight. Weather man says snow is over. Rain is here.

I think someone should tell him that when it's below 0 and warms up 25 degrease it's still only 23, and that rain he keeps talking about looks an awful lot like 8 or 10 inches of new snow at my house. The ridge outside my window is only about 400 yds away and I can't see it for the snow.

Freezing rain here Friday night made the roads get bad faster than I've ever seen before. They went from perfect to ice skating type conditions in about 40 minutes.

Well we have just had a cyclone pass us.......lucky it did I not hit us but we have had a lot of rain and high winds.

Yepoon and Rockhampton got hit pretty bad.

Sunny now but ground very wet. 31 degrees C expected today with 94% humidity.

Glade to report we now have snow and cold temps.

I have a question for Mr. Templer the well knowing History Teacher. . Since we now talk of snow in terms of feet and the temp is either below or above 0 degrees F. here in South-East Ky. are we now considered part of the frozen north? We used to be the South, never the deep south but still the south. Now I'm thinking we will be part of the north. What does this do to us in regards of our southern History? Are we now Yankees? What's next?

Since all the hollers are getting full of snow will we now be called flat landers?

BASED ON THIS YEAR'S WEATHER I WOULD SAY THAT MOST OF THE STATES ARE NOW PART OF THE FROZEN NORTH----THERE ARE PROBABLY ONLY 6 STATES THAT ARE WARM ENOUGH TO BE CALLED THE SOUTHERN UNITED STATES....WE MIGHT HIT 30*F SATURDAY BUT THAT INCLUDES MORE SNOW----THIS IS NOT A YEAR TO BE A FIREMAN OR A POSTAL CARRIER---I OPEN THE DOOR AND LET MY DOG TAKE HER OWN WALK---SHE GOES OUT---PEES--AND IS BACK IN THE HOUSE IN JUST OVER 2 MINUTES..SOMETIMES SHE LOOKS OUT THE DOOR AND DOESN'T GO OUT AT ALL UNTIL IT REALLY GETS UNCOMFORTABLE.............

Goose this advice is from my wife who has been a nurse in a nursing home for many years. She say's that when you get to the point that you don't get off the couch at all it's going to get even more uncomfortable.

My folks decided to be snowbirds this year, so they are in Florida for the winter, heading back to Rhode Island at the end of the month.

Here is a picture of their garage showing all of the snow that a neighbor sent them. The area was expecting another 6 inches of snow after the photo was taken.

Weather finely wormed up, snow has about all melted. Flood stage of the river is 16 feet. The present level is 20 feet and climbing. Glade I live on the top of the hill. Did I tell you the temp has falling over night and we are now getting SNOW.

AS I GET UP THIS MORNING--IT IS 9* OUT GOING UP TO 25* WARMER EACH DAY NO SNOW FOR AWHILE---MAY HIT 50* BY NEXT WEDNESDAY---WE WILL SEE---THAY HAVE BEEN WRONG AT LEAST 1000 TIMES IN THE PAST----GROUND STILL QUITE FROZEN AND SNOW COVERED......I DON'T LIKE IT HOT AND HUMID BUT THIS IS REDICULOUS..............HOPE EVERYONE ELSE I ENJOYING THEIR WEATHER----OH WE TURN OUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR THIS WEEKEND----ANOTHER STUPID PRACTICE BUT MOVING THE CLOCKS AHEAD IS EASIER THAT TURNING THEM BACK IN THE FALL..............
