NWDCC Christmas Party

I attended the Northwest Detroit Coin Club Christmas party last night. There were 43 people in attendance. Everyone received a $5 Star note (2009 series) as a gift just for coming out, and I got to go home with a couple of brand new 2015 $2 Maui Trade Dollars in a White Elephant gift exchange. I understand that these were just released so I was one of the first few individuals to receive some. They are very nice indeed!! See more from the party (I was Santa Clause!!) at www.nwdcc.org

It seems Santa Clause gets a few presents too.  I like the Maui Trade Dollar.  It is a cool series of tokens.

Well guys I guess they haven't posted any pics of me as Santa on the NWDCC club website, so here is one taken the other day with our youngest granddaughter Rosalie Helen. She was born 12 weeks premature, is 6 months old now and doing just fine as you can see. At least we know she's not afraid of Santa Claus!!
