Is there really only 42 Members on this forum?

Clicking on the link for 'members' only shows me a total of 42 members.  Either this is a Hitchhiker's reference or a typo, or possibly it is reality?

Anyone care to elaborate?

As Nighthawk said, some house cleaning was done recently.
There were hundreds of members over the years and many had
not even posted, so these were all cleaned out.
It's an honour to have you amongst us Matt. I hope you stick around.

Yes we only have 42 registered members.  We are not open to everyone as we keep the castle gates locked.

A clean out was completed and members must be approved before we open the castle gates.

Spammers keep knocking on our door (about 5-6 a day) but we do not allow entry.

We are the elite few.

Some members do have troubles (Amr in Egypt) but we do keep in touch via email.
