That might be right Erik.....it was something I read in a bank note magazine. Possibly, the Kao Tsung note was some sort of a hand written promisory note that was used many times. Many, many snows ago, our milkman gave my mom someone else's personal check as change which was endorsed by 2 other people. I don't know if my mom passed it on or just deposited it.
