I bought a bulk lot of coins recently and although it was generally disappointing, with lots of repeats and many coins that had to go in the scrap jar, I did manage to add about 100 coins to my collection.

I like the 1985 coin from Portugal a few posts back. It seems like the king's head is floating away, or detached from his body.   I have to wonder if it is symbolic of something, or just the artists style. Pretty cool coin either way.

This was a totally unexpected surprise I received yesterday from Steve.  Thanks very much, it's lovely.   Sorry the picture is a little blurry.  The coin is in a capsule and I don't want to damage it in any way, so images are taken through the plastic and as it has a very high shine to it, reflection is just a small drawback.

Here are my new additions. I received treasure from SirStacksALot and I am very happy.  There are 1 oz. silver coins and some silver tokens. I received also statehoods quarters, countrystamped nickels and 1 dollar by Daniel Carr !!!! This package was very nice surprise for me. The scans of coins are a little bit poor but all coins are in excellent condition. Than you very much Mr. Jim again.
