I have started a new set in my US collection.
The Sacajawea dollar set. It is a very beautiful coin and actually the Sacajawea girl reminds me of my elder daughter (I sometimes call her Sacajawea :) )

I received a Dansco album for this set a couple of days ago and i have already filed some holes :D
Would like to share with you all my joy :)

Amr :) :) :)

Very nice. You are ahead of me. I don't have any 2011 or 2012.
According to my swap list though, I do have a 2000 D you can have.

You are off to a good start.  Keep up the good work.

I have a full set of them but none of the coins are in albums.  All are in 2x2's.

Once in a while when someone posts a picture of a Dansco album, I think about getting some albums but then they would create a problem of where to store the albums.

Thanks Ken

Most of my coin collection is placed either in albums or folders and you will be surprised how many coin each album can contain. Regarding the storage area, i treat them as books and place them on the book shelf.

If you decided to get one, i would recemmend a Dansco

Thanks Amr, I will put this coin aside for you.

Ken, I'm with you. 2x2's for me too. Albums can be a
problem to store or they run out of spaces and you have
to buy another one. Then there is the coin you can't afford
and you have an empty space in the album forever.

I use the 2x2s and place them in the cardboard 2x2 boxes 9" long and with some 12" long. In the beginning, I used the Whitman folders for all of the denominations of most of the series.....still have em and haven't looked at them in many, many snows. I'm wondering what I really have in those folders.

I WISH I COULD MAKE UP MY MIND AS TO WHICH IS A BETTER WAY TO KEEP MY COINS-------I HAVE 2X2S AND DANSCO BOOKS---BUT I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH EITHER---I LIKE THE 2X2 HOLDERS AND I USE A TAPE LABEL MACHINE TO IDENTIFY EACH COIN AND THEY FIT IN A LONG BOX FOR EASY STORAGE---THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I CAN'T ALWAYS REMEMBER WHAT COIN IS MISSING FROM MY SETS-----THE DANSCO BOOKS OFFER EASY ACCESS TO SEE MY COINS AND THE ONES I NEED AND THE ONES I WANT TO UPGRADE AND THEY STORE JUST LIKE A BOOK----BUT THERE IS USUALLY ONLY ROOM FOR THE DATE AND MINT AND NO OTHER INFORMATION------IT SEEMS THAT THE BEST WAY IS A COMBINATION OF BOTH FOR ME----I HAVE A SET IN THE BOOKS AND THE OVERSTOCK IN 2X2S.......................
THE REAL PROBLEM FOR ME IS THE SLABBED COINS----EACH COMPANY PUTS OUT A LITTLE DIFFERENT SIZE HOLDER AND I HAVEN'T FOUND A BOX TO HOLD MY NGCS---PCGS---ANACS--ETC. BECAUSE THEIR SIZES ARE ALL DIFFERENT ...............THE FUN AND FRUSTRATION IF COIN COLLECTING...........

I have my coins in 2x2"s in boxes, 2x2's in plastic sheets in note books, in Whitman Blue Books, in Dansco albums, in box's loss, in cups, laying on my desk, even have been known to catch my granddaughter putting them in her dipper.  ;D  ;D Getting coins organized.  ::)  ::) Yep, right with you there.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Joe, what you need is an Excel spreadsheet.
You can keep your coins in the 2x2s and a list of what you have and need, in the spreadsheet.
