Get The Ball Rolling?
June 22, 2009, 05:15:18 AM
On June 14, 2008, I posted the following:

"The year is nearly at the mid-way point.

"Am I just being over-anxious, or should an effort be made to contact Daniel Carr, and get the ball rolling?"

Today is June 22, 2009, and I ask the same question.  If we are going to have a nice 2009 KOTCT medal, don't we need to get off dead center, jump on the horses, and start the quest?

I will attempt to contact Daniel Carr by e-mail and see "where we are at" at this point.

I would assume the Knights and Knightesses of the Castle want to continue the medal tradition.

Comments are welcome.

 :) :) :) :)

I guess I missed your post of the 14th. I was just thinking about this the other day. I think it is absolutely the time to get th ball rolling.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE COIN CONTINUED--ITS A GREAT TRADITION---AND IF POSSIBLE--I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO HAVE A METAL MUG WITH THE KNIGHT ON IT IF POSSIBLE---WE ALREADY HAVE THE PICTURE--I AM JUST NOT SURE WHO YOU WOULD CONTACT ABOUT MAKING THE MUG---CHINA??????--just kidding about that--but a cup with the date the club started would make a nice addition along with the yearly coins---maybe we need a head count as to how many would be interested?

Gary go ahead and email D. Carr. He was aware of our design requests so hopefully he has put some effort into the medallion. Also, if you would, ask him if his silver bullion rounds are ready for sale as I would like to place some of them in our KOTCT store. Great design and they are pure silver rounds. Let me know what you do find out. Thanks!

I'm looking forward to seeing the 2009 Medals. It's a great tradition we have started here, let's not stop now.

Mr. Templar, I wouldn't want a mug made in China, it'd probably contain lead!  hehe.

Yes, time for the new  Medals!  Also time for the new fundraisers to start to defray the costs of such for our  members.

Do add this coin to my collection?

I AM ALL FOR THE COINS BUT SELLING THE MUGS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE CASTLE WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA--NICE GIFTS--COINS ON SILVER ROUNDS SOUND REAL GOOD ALSO AND MAYBE COPPER???
