Ooh, no. I hadn't seen any of those!  Now I shall have to look for them.    The latest entries to my cat collection have been these:


Belarus, 1 ruble coin, 2009.  The cat has been a traditional housewarming gift in Belarus, and so they've made a coin with that theme.   I think I like this tradition.

It is indeed. The coin is part of a "federal republics" series of coins depicting symbols of the member-states of the Russian Federation; this one is for Tatarstan. The Coat of Arms of Tatarstan is a winged snow leopard.
