*****************************************************
By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER, AP Economics Writer Christopher S. Rugaber, Ap Economics Writer-1 min ago
WASHINGTON – The unemployment rate jumped almost half a point to 9.7 percent in August, the highest since 1983, reflecting a poor job market that will make it hard for the economy to begin a sustained recovery.
*****************************************************

"Well actually," that could be good news, actually. We'll just throw some chicken bones on the ground and dance around them, and see what comes up.

Okay here it is:
******************************************************
By SARA LEPRO, AP Business Writer Sara Lepro, Ap Business Writer-57 mins ago
NEW YORK – A mixed report on the labor market in August contained enough kernels of hope to send stocks higher on Friday.

The Labor Department reported a slower pace of job losses last month but also an increase in the unemployment rate to 9.7 percent — the highest since June 1983.

Analysts had been expecting the rate to increase to 9.5 percent after unexpectedly dipping to 9.4 percent in July. Most economists expect the unemployment rate to top 10 percent by early next year
*****************************************************

Check out the times. The chicken bones must've known it was coming.

Something about paying significantly over melt for the UHR's has been a turnoff to me.  USM packaging also sucks, coins coming loose in their boxes etc.

You can do this with nearly all pictures on nearly all sites
Some will say the picture is proctected when you right click
Ebay germany puts its pictures in a pop up now that does not allow right click
Stupid because Snagit (TechSmith\Snagit 9\ ) is made to cut and copy the things that are not copyable and save them without problem

And if that should ever fail I got a desktop recorder that can record anything that happens on my computerscreen called Camtasia studio 5

Community spirit? There's seems to be large amounts of local pride in the Great Lakes states. Was it always that way or have the hard times pulled people together? The U.S and world, IMO, is not going to be more centralized  but less-- devolving more towards local. It will no doubt involve a continuing and even escalating struggle with socialists and krapitalists. Unless  we get lucky and these two baboons just kill each other off in a alpha monkey war.  Then  Libertarians  can inherent the planet.  8)

This great community spirit that the Great Lakes seems to have could be a great advantage one day--a head start in a country of localized economies. A Sun Tzu example of "weakness becomes strength."

I figured these ghouls would be in it somewhere.

"In addition, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. /quotes/comstock/13*!gs/quotes/nls/gs  (GS  163.09, +0.12, +0.07%) has developed a tradable index of life settlements, allowing investors to bet on whether people will live longer than expected or die sooner than planned, the Times said, adding that spokesmen for Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs declined to comment."

Well as usual the yahoo link has mutated into something else. Maybe the Fake News Network can do better.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/08/baucus-plan-allows-fines-failing-health-insurance/

Max Pukecus wants to fine people who don't buy health insurance. Presumably that would be people who actually have any money but don't want any part of their communist insurance. Which makes mandatory health insurance  nothing but a tax to be paid to the AIG pig. Way to go comrade.

Shazam! What an odd  coincidence this is. Seems that quite a few insurance companies contributed to Maximum Pukeus' campaigns.

Oh dear, there must be some kind of a mistake with this. Isn't Altria Group the parent company for Marlboro?

And look at this.  I just can't believe these strange coincidences. Numero Uno on the list is Schering-Plough: "is an innovation-driven, science-centered global health care company."

I was out of action for 18 hours due to computer problems
In safe mode I read all logbooks and they said internal error alternated with a device does not work
I ran 10 hours of three antivirus programs ( nothing )
I ran 5 hours of repair programs ( nothing )
I went to read the user manual and it said if I got the Toshiba logo the internal check was allright and then
it starts to load XP where it crashes ( not much help )
I watched the process explorer running two giga hardware interrups for hours and in safe mode there is virtually no hardware : so this is a mistery to me
I went for a walk for 15 minutes and when I returned everything was working fine
I am sure the stupid piece of 3000$ shit overheated and all my efforts kept it overheated .
And none of the diagnostics was smart enough to say so notwithstanding it got five heatsensors inside one of which that kept shutting it down
When I was back I read on the internet that Toshiba laptops are prone to overheat and nead cleaning
I downloaded speedfan which gives you all temperatures Two for the dual core and one for the NVIDEA cart and one for the hard disk
I put my superpowerfull vacuum cleaner on all inlets and outlets and saw the temperatures drop from
70 C to 36 C in a minute . However the cleaner sucked several keyboard keys off the keyboard in the process . So I had to do open heart surgery on the bag . Electrolux seems to be very powerfull vacuum cleaner . Now I am trying to determine whether I need to open up and demount the laptop to clean by hand the heatsink : but I will wait till gold breaks out because I have some shares to sell and do not want to be blind next week .
I hate computers but am lost without them ??? ??? ???
oh I overheated the thing with 4 giga ram and half a giga graphics by playing a game made in 2008
which warned me my clock speed was too slow at 2000  ??? ??? ???

Ha, ha, the twinks aren't just dabbing  makeup on their transvestite "recovery", anymore they're lapping  it on with a putty-knife.   Lay it on boys; Max Factor that babe 'till she falls over from the weight-- "why is Ms. Recovery always hunched over and stumbling, oh no there she goes!"

Ghost of Ted:  "Looks like  we need dental care reform."

They're  trying to fake out china into believing the fed has no more reasons to print money. And they're trying to fake out the stooges in congress (a much easier task) into believing the U.S can now afford  health care hand outs. CON-gress "wants to believe" they just need  "experts" to cover their lumpy butts when it becomes another TARPit. By the time they get around to voting on health care the transvestite will look as good as Marilyn Monroe. But the stuff that matters, still won't be real.

Oh yea, they can try to fake out the people who actually have some money in the bank into believing inflation is just around the corner. Better get rid of those dollars, spend, spend, spend.  Well that's not working either.

Mainstream,  I love it.  If it's mainstream, it's  sanitized. You get what they want you to get. You hear what they want you to hear. Why would that be any different with economics?

Hey Tim, what happens when a putty knife isn't fast enough? A caulking gun?

Well it is a two year old Toshiba Satelite Pro P100 heaviest they had and then upgraded to 4 giga RAM and I put on an external large screen and typing board and mouse converting it into a desktop with one terrabyte ( and no noise ) and external dynamic loudspeakers
All my minute by minute goldminer charts are running on a screen continuously and it also has the programs of my different banks on it with access codes by way of a calculator they give you to generate 8 digit numbers interactively . So inside two minutes I can buy or sell any share I want . 15 seconds when I preset . Since I think the price of gold and miners is going to reach a peak around 17-20 september I would hate to be blind and clueless the next few weeks . So I babysit my computer . My only vice is that when I get bored with reading ( I just finished the Da Vinci code in one day )

I have been in several situations in fast food restaurants or retail stores where clerks had no idea how much change to give back, what really throw them off is being out of something like quarters.  Seemingly few people know that two dimes and a nickel equal a quarter.

Made  from chinese steel  no doubt. What are they worried about? The steel workers screwed over by "you have to compete now with the free market economy"  are too old and fat  to go rumbling with the cops. Steel workers clearly did not understand krapitalism.  Their unions sucked a lot of blood for sure, but the steelworkers were still producing something that was marginally useful.  "Talented"  Sachigoths  fixed all that.

"Free markets, free markets! We don't need no stinking free markets! We make money the old fashioned way, we suck it out of the taxpayers' neck."

Three more banks gone total 92 now for US

In Europe a large conflict is brewing
The german government gives billions so that the new Opel owner Magna keeps the german factories open and closes 3 out of seven factories in belgium and UK
This may be against EEC rules of competition and one of the belgians is leader of the european liberal fraction

It's the biggest fraud since humans spewed from the soup. It  had to  take millions of people,  hedge fund traders, bankers, brokers, politicians, and "regulators" to destroy the economies of the world. How many are in prision? Are there even 100 hedge fund traders in prison?

In the meantime Little Ben is dazzling us once again with his lovely transvestite:

AP news
"Bernanke says recession 'very likely over'"

Why does he keep repeating himself. Doesn't anyone believe him?

Belgium is one of the few countries that have automatic index applied to augment salaries
except the index is so manipulated it went 2% down
As a result the supermarket organisation HQ reports that for the first time in 15 years
people are buying less FOOD
I can only guess they are planting tomatoes and salad etc again and other foodstuff
Farmers are pouring millions of liters of milk on the farmland in protest they get less
for the milk then it costs to produce it
The supermarket HQ forecasts a very bad 2010 when the salary decreases are really going to bite
Green shoots ? Yes but only garden infestation kinds  ???

Ben Greenshoots does not wish to believe: WE ARE BROKE.  He chooses instead to believe:  "There are three kinds of men in this world my friend, those who can count and those who can't."

So we can count on more of the same--krapitalists and communists competing with each other to suck the taxpayers neck. I suspect the krapitalists will be winning for awhile too since they have one of their own in the white house pretending to be the other.

Our government has a new proposel
Instead of waiting till someone retires at 65 and pays 22% on his pension plan they want to take the tax yearly so that they do not have to wait 45 years for people starting to work but can cash immidiately .
Of course those saving money will loose an average of 22.5 years of intrest on the taxes they pay too early
I sure am happy I am retired and withdrew ALL of my pension in one go  ;D

There was an article in CoinWorld about a Confederate Cavalry General who demanded that a town in Maryland pay him $20,000 plus clothes for his troops or he'd burn the town down.

Seems plausible to me that one day  thugs in government will be doing the same thing.  Unless they  lay themselves off when the taxpayers' neck is empty. Yeah right. They could even sub the jobs out to gangs. That way bumcrats won't have to leave their A/C and donuts behind.

Ransoms were fairly common during that time, but often times the main Confederate leadership was compelled to pay for provisions from the locals, even during the Gettysburg campaign, not that Confederate money had a lot of buying power in 1863 Pennsylvania.  In contrast Union General William T. Sherman tended to let his soldiers do whatever, then stop them when they had pillaged most everything.

I know of one case where Montgomery Blair's home in Silver Spring MD, he was the US Postmaster General during the Lincoln administration, was burned by Confederates and they actually apologized, the general in charge of the soldiers was a personal friend of Blair's before the war.

Sherman was the worse. He didn't just pillage he burned or killed anything that he couldn't pillage.  He even boosted that his troops could steal, scrape, and gut a hog without breaking ranks.

The American Civil War has been referred to as the first "Modern" war, in the sense that civilians for the first time in recorded history became targets.  Actually I think it was the first war that went back to the cave man style conflicts where there were no clear targets.

Nowadays anything goes, and nothing is sacred.

History forgets the vanquished and makes right what could have been wrong all along.  I have a lot to share about that thought, but not a lot of desire to.  I know the Civil War, or as we refer to it, the War Between the States, very well.  A cousin and I have researched our family history going back to the 1680's but even the Revolutionary War involvement of ancestors is not nearly the draw and fascination as the Civil War, where literally I had ancestors fight against other ancestors in the same battles.  I have one Union(was captured in June 1861 and paroled out of the war - when both north and south were still exchanging POWs) ancestor, but three Confederate.  One of my ancestors was one of the last to give up the fight in June 1865 when CSA Genl. Stand Watie finally opted out.

In the theory of Turnings we are entering the 4th Turning. The first was the Revolutionary war, the second was the U.S Civil War, and the third was the Great Depression/WWll. Whatever form a 4th Turning takes, the status quo does not give in or budge an inch.  It's scotched earth, "to the death"  winner writes a sparkling history about themselves.

Unemployment is one thing, but add to that the now so called "underemployed" that are being furloughed for sometimes weeks at a time, unpaid of course.  A couple of my relatives work in ancillary industries connected to the auto industry now and are in that category, taking weeks at a time of unpaid time off.  At least they are not laid off, but this complicates matters in that you CANNOT collect unemployment.

Michigan sucks.  Governator Grannyholm is more concerned with her national spotlight than what is going on in this dung heap.

Now come on fellows, the Government says things are getting better.  And some people believe the talking heads.  Meanwhile unemployment is sliding over double digits in most states.  "Crappy days are here again"

It's worse than that. They try to convince people here that inflation is around the corner so people will spend their savings and at the same time, *in the same breath practically*  they tell the Chinese that there won't be any inflation.

Not to worry though, I got this stuff figured out now. It's really simple "actually." The cosmos is having a schizophrenic  spasm (probably what that Mayan calender and 2012 is about) The problem here is that  it's too enormous to make a Prozac  pill for it and it's too dispersed to to pin point any particular entity so Max Baucus can  threaten it  with a law saying it must stop this skizzy spasm or else.  And apparently we are the fractal version of the cosmos. Why else would anyone believe these  hallucinations from the fed?

Oh yeah, speaking of hallucinations,  I think BO forgot to mention the part where everyone buying a new car this year under the cash for looters program probably won't be buying a new car next year.

When you can't run a state, run for President. When you can't run your country, attempt to run the world.

Index finger, that is nothing compared to the finger he is going to be using when he loses out on health care reform and his poll numbers hit the toilet.

I think that finger bit is a JFK prop. Didn't he like popping his index finger on the podium to simulate indignation? Maybe BO can  borrow Jack Kempt's JFK wig for better effect

Ooops, looks like someone already fixed it for him.

What does BO want the world to buy from us--financial "investments" from his leper colony? That's we all we have to sell as the closed down steel mills he's standing next to should make all too clear.

Meantime they are shaking the tree like mad ; hoping some more plums ( idiots ) fall out
One of my miners opened up minus 10% today and gold was down most of the day
As if I care
Mericans may have an attention span of 60 seconds but mine is still 15 days shortterm and january 2010 near term  ;D
If they still can keep all balls levitated and the dollar alive and gold below 1000 by jan 2010 I will have to consider 2012  :D
Does not compute I mean jan 2010 plus 22 months

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know

That's why "buy and hold" worked so well in the 80's and 90's. It's even easier now, "buy and burn a doobie....dude"  Probably won't be much attention span there either.  ;D

IMO, metals will win this contest. It's our turn. But the wallstreet leper colony and it's keepers still have lots of smoke and mirrors. They are simply trying their best to wear out the bears and gold bugs. Maybe our mantra should be:  "The trick is to ride and make it to the bell."--John Fogerty Rock-N-Roll Girls.

I wonder if I can convince the IMF that Saor Eireann would like to buy some gold to help out it's small but vibrant economy.  Perhaps they would be willing to let it at $350 an oz?

I'm guessing the baboons want to sell gold to China in the hope that they will later dump it and collapse the price.  The government is advertising for Chinese to buy gold and silver on T.V. So if the IMF sells them gold they can at least slow it's advance. But if China implodes   people will sell gold to survive or just to pay margin calls---which is the same thing as surviving.

Yeah, they do things a bit different in China. Financial fraud is rewarded with a bullet in the head rather than a bonus. I'm pretty sure people will sell their gold and pay for their own mistakes to avoid that.

"Ooooh, one bullet not fast enough, use two!"

Does anyone have a link to actual news about  the G20? or the date the baboons will actually be meeting? I thought they were to meet last weekend, then I thought this week. When is it?
