Last year, Daniel Carr was named as our "Member of the Year," based on his outstanding work in developing medals for our members.
The idea was to make this an annual award, and also to provide something (plaque?) to show our appreciation.
It was also suggested that each year the recipient should be honored at about the time of year of our KOTCT anniversary.
So, it's 2008. Let's select the 2008 Knight/Knightess of the year!
Let's do it like this. First, we need nominations. I would guess that KOTCT members would like nominations to be "private."
If members will PM me, or send me an e-mail with your nomination(s), I will list them here. Once we have a list of nominees, we can decide on an election procedure.
How about a two week period for nominations? That should give a majority of members an opportunity to read this post and make a nomination.
Send me the name of a member for this honor, and, if you wish, add reasons why you are nominating him or her. Reasons are not necessary, unless desired by the nominator.
