And what a lovely Eliza she is.  I'd be very pleased to make her acquaintance any time.  ;D ::)

Very nice coin SM

I hope Eliza will not be jealous of others in your harem.

Very nice

Can you tell me how you do your pics ? I hesitate between a very good scanner and a single low light photo .
Anyway the coin is presented like it would be in real life .

I scan most of my images, because then I have no variation in the horizon vs. vertical.  I confess, I use about a 12 year old photo imaging programme, not supported by Microsoft anymore, because I like the ease of use.  And it works better than photoshop.  I do change the background, but the immediate background around the coin, ie very close is just a similarly coloured paper I taped to the scanner lid.

I have worked with Photoshop, but whilst it is good for some stuff, I find that it does nothing for coins.

I have used iphoto plus4 for 12 years and still do in bmp mode . However I found no driver for my old scanner that will only speak win98SE
So I gave up and bought a canoscan8800 but I still save all my scans in bitmap
I have photoshop which is usefull for cutting capsules off a coin but in general I have been studying photoshop for several months and it is too complicated . ( I have the full version) . For coins inside a capsule it has healing and burning tools though which for silver are intresting since I do not want to handle silver proof coins

She appears to be a Knightness by birth--born into  the Clashed Die Clan? 8)
