2007 Knight's Medallion
October 11, 2007, 11:28:14 PM
I am interested in purchasing one of the 2007 Knight's Medallion.

If anyone has a spare that they are willing to sell, would appreciate greatly if you could email me. I possibly will not have access to my emails for the next 10 days, but if any response, will get back to you ASAP.

Thanks
Anna

Can anyone get with tobyle and provide Nohope587's email address as the last I heard he was selling off some of the extras he purchased. At this time that is the only possibility I can think off other than tobyle waiting on the 63mm pewter medallions to be delivered as I/We are hoping for a few extras there.

Indeed, I was under the impression that nohope would offer medals to those who became knights and knightesses after the ordering period ended. Nohope had about 1/3 of the total issue.

Yes, if my memory serves me correct, he was sent an email but it probably wouldn't hurt for someone to get in contact with him again?

Thought I would let you know that I have been in contact with Nohope587 re: 2007 Medallions.

He does have spares but he is away for his job at the moment (on a ship at sea) and will no be back until December 3rd.

Once back I will find out what he has left, his prices and will let anyone interested know.

If you are after a set please register here.   Also let me know if you want Proof or Satin.

Yikes, I hope I don't get maced or drawn & quartered for this but...this is a copy of a post of nohope587's from CCF:

Quote "I ordered a few extra sets just in case there were any knights who for what ever reason were unable to participate in the original order.

Before requesting medals from me please check with crystalk64 (Terry)to make sure all the original minting has been sold.
Once Terry is out of medals I will accept requests for additional medals.
Priority will be given to those who do not already have one.

Please reply to this thread with the kind you wish to have
Copper Brass Silver
Finishes Prooflike or satin.
Price will be the same as the issue price $15 for copper or brass, $30 for silver
Shipping at cost.
I will take paypal but keep in mind I have a business account and paypal charge me to recieve any funds. Checks and Mo's always welcome
. " End of Quote

A slight problem as I see it, the only people who can reply to his thread are CCF members, and not everyone who wants a medal are on CCF.  It sure would be easier all round if nohope587 was registered here, but maybe someone from here who is also on CCF & has traded with him or been in close contact will be able to orchestrate something mutually agreeable to all.

It's very decent of nohope587 to offer them to new Knights & those that didn't order, so I hope we can get together on this for the good of the KOTCT.

I wonder if the fact that he's at sea has anything to do with him not registering with us yet  He might not have received the invitational email, seeing that he specifically advised people to reply to his thread on CCF.

Nancy I have been in contact with Richard and he is away for his job at the moment (on the high seas) and will not be back home until December 3rd or 4th.
The offer in the CCF was made in the Knight's section that can only be accessed by the knights members.

He still has some available.

Hi Barry,
Please add my name to the list for one of the 63mm medallions if one becomes available. Type not important.

We are one medal short of a set.

I did receive an e-mail from Richard, and he stated he would get back with us when he returns.

Bob, I love the phrases you use!!

I hope you like the medal.  I like the large ones even more than the smaller ones.

Also, I know you have been waiting for that wooden dollar for a long time!!

Never did get an e-mail telling me about this place.... But then my e-mail server was down for about a month during the exodus. I do indeed have some extra medals from 2007. As usual however I am at sea.
I am supposed to return around the 5th of Feb.
Anyway I am here now thanks to directions...

Those wishing a medal please PM/Email me  with the type and finish.
these are the original series not the large medallions (63mm)

I would like to limit each member a max of two choices. That way as the membership grows I will still have a few left for newbies (like myself) who join later.
Depending on my financial situation over the next month or so I will probably be wanting a significant number of the 2008 medals for the same reason.

Richard it is good to have you back. If he has NOT already been in touch with you I would like to add TKO-100's name to your list for a silver medallion. Will try to get with you in the near future concerning your other extra's and the quest for the 2008 medallion.

I realise that this thread was started a long time ago and I'm just wondering if the 2007 Medallion set is still available. I've managed to acquire the 2007 and 2008 wooden dollars and would like to keep my collection up to date by obtaining the silver and copper coins as well as the pewter medallion. Can someone help?

If any of you have NOT purchased a 2007 medallion and desire to do so I will highly recommend doing business with NOHOPE. You can rest assured you will be treated fairly, honestly and get your medallion as quickly as the mail can deliver it. Personally I absolutely favored the copper over the brass due to the richness of the color. Give him an email if your interested in obtaining one of the last few for sale.

I would suggest you EMAIL Nohope immediately and get all your information first hand. I could tell you what the selling prices were in 2007 and our shipping and handling charge but that was then and this was now. Give our friend down south an email and I am sure you will be pleased with his reply.

The 2007 medals are in my office which has been used as a storage area whilst the house was being renovated. It will be several days before I can dig them out but I know I do have several left.
here is a link to last inventory.
