A bit out of my price range for such things of late, trying to get on track and collect only Scottish coins now. ;D

An interesting read on that eBay auction, none-the-less.  Usually items don't come with such details!

Do add this coin to my collection?

   Cat?      Australian?              US?                Really Old?

Like so many notes, and not unduly so, it is an Albrecht Durer painting from the 16th century, there were actually a series of notes issued through the 1926 5 RM note that had Durer subjects on them.  Curiously even for the inflation notes of 1923 they were attractive designs and quite pricey.  The 1926 5 RM note is difficult to find in Uncirculated, even though they circulated through 1945 along with the 1942 nazi note.

Durer subjects appeared on many German notes, on up to the 1980 series, with his "Venetian Woman" on the 5DM note, this is a 1960:

One of my personal favourite German notes.  Even if she is a lovely Italian ;D

Oh my god why did I buy lunch at the Argentine Churasco chain
Argentine sirloin cooked blue ( means only touched the pan on both sides and served on a very hot platter as red inside as can be)

My brother spent a year in the Belgian occupation fources in Germany near Wiesbaden ( home of the taxfree records and stereo equipment . I am told the Americans flew it  into Switzerland and then road transfered it to Wiesbaden )
Later on tax people caught him on a few stereo installations cause a jealous acquaintance ratted on him . That is only  a 50% penalty .

What I meant to say is that I spend these lovelies to buy sirloin  ??? ??? ???

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know
All I know is that I'am on my way
