Ooh, lucky.  If I'm reading the Pobjoy mint site correctly, there's a second coin out featuring the Boy King's golden death mask.  I think I'd love these coins if they were anything other than copper coloured. For some reason, that colour just throws me off, especially surrounded by pictures of all that gold.

Do add this coin to my collection?

Well I really DID NOT need to see this!!! ElleKitty don't you know I have a terrible afliction for odd shaped coins. So, where did you get it and what did it cost? The pain, oh the pain!

Some time ago quiet by accident I got a boxed set of three coins Gold silver and bronze from France
During the mailtrip from France they got mixed because the box was very large and the slots very shallow and so they ended
up all three wrapped in their plastic in the bottom of the box

I am ashamed to say I had to look at the certificates and the weight and then weigh the coins to find out which was gold and which was bronze . I tought I would never have been fooled this easily by a copper alloy

Oh the shame of it all  ???

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know
All I know is that I'am on my way

Terry, generally these coins can be ordered directly from the Pobjoy mint online.  I've seen the Coffin coins on ebay, but I haven't seen one of the Death Masks at all.

When I have a little extra cash I'll probably pick these two up, but I just spent $60 at Downies getting the 2008 necessities:  2008 RAM Mint set ($24), companion uncirculated dollar and 20 cent coins that don't come in the mint set ($13.50), the $1 Coat of Arms ($ 2.50 Al-Bronze, silver will have to come later) and the 2007 10 cent Tuatara coin from the Kiwi mint ($13.50).

Do add this coin to my collection?
