Dear Friends:
I have requested, how you came into this hobby???   Several persons have answered it and with lot of information.   All of them are interesting.  I have answered individually and for those, e-mail ID is hidden, I could not answer.  I THANK THEM, ALL.
Now I request, What was your 1st coin, that you started with??   Do you still have it, in your collection??
Friend like Mr.Triggersmob,  has shown his first coin.
My FIRST COIN is Straits Settlements 20-CENT Silver coin of  1916, in VF condition. Still I own it.   I have come accross, coins in better condition.  But I don't want to part it.  Friends who saw them offered very good price.  But, I never wanted  to sell it.
Hope, you will recollect and send messages.   It is always a happy experience to go back 20. 30. 40 years back and recollect, again.
Wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Sincerely
George

I the thread about how I got started I mentioned getting 1983 proof sets, and shortly after that I got an 1899-O Morgan dollar. I still have all of those coins.
