I have given up collecting coins and medallions and sold most of my collection.
Instead I have been working on transit tokens from around the world.
I have bridge, rail, ferry and bus tokens from vaious countries including UK, Europe, Russia, China, Australia, New Zealand South America and USA.
Most of my collection is from USA as there are so many of them.
I have a number of ferry passes from Sydney ferrries includig the Manly ferries, also some rail passes as well.
Does anyone else here collect tranport tokens? It is a very interesting area with a lot of history and is not overly expensive.
