Social Media anyone here use Facebook?

When I opened a Facebook page for my cut coins Facebook told me I needed to reach 50 likes to get feedback from them. After 50 Likes I started to get a weekly synopsis of visitors its was interesting but not really useful.
The next target is 100 likes then something else happens..
So if you are bored do a search on Facebook for Numismatic jewelry and if you like what you see click the like button
I have only ever made one sale through Facebook I use it mainly to tell people when I am going to be at the farmers market or a craft show. So no sales pitch I just what to see what tools 100 likes opens up for me.

I suspect it will be a let down to find out what tools open up after 100 likes.

I don't know what it reflects on me that I have more likes on my jewelry page than I have on my personal page..
I find the whole concept of social media very baffling but I do know its important if you want to become infamous...

O.K. Richard I liked you on Facebook. It really cost me I tell my wife all the time she should not be on that old gossip page, and I had to ask her to go on it yesterday and do the like thing. She will make me pay for this. She is already eyeing your coin jewelry.

Thanks everyone more likes in the last few days than I have had for a year. Kena is obviously too friendly with over 200 friends.. makes my pitiful 20 or so look like i am a recluse more so when you consider over half are co-workers.
I think my dreams of making 100 are a long ways off.
Pocketcoins just tell your wife I am almost 18months behind on custom work. I have learned women loose interest if the have it now gene is not appeased. 
I might not understand the allure of social media but i do understand it can be a powerful marketing tool if used correctly.. I am no really interested in expanding my market as i can't keep up with the current one. but i am interested in learning how to use Facebook and seeing what it can do.
