I just Googled those coins and they do look nice.
Probably not legal tender though (except for on the Indian reservations, maybe).
Let's wait and see what our U.S. friends can tell us.

This is the first time I heard of them, but this sight might shed some light on the coins:

It seems like the Los Coyotes Indians coins are a set that can be used on the Indian reservation, but they are not legal tender.  They are pretty cool looking. I may try to find a set.

It seems that you can buy a proof set of these at the littleton coin co. for about 32 dollars.  More than I am willing to pay for them.

Provident metals also sells a 1 ounce "5 Dollar" copper round with a bobcat and some Coyotes on it.  The 5 dollar denotation is pretty much meaningless though since it is not American Currency. I do order things from provident from time to time, so I can add one to my next order for you if you want one.  They are only 2.5 American dollars. Here is the link:

It is really very beautiful. It is pity that is not legal tender. Thank you Mr. Jim but now I must save some money for our trade. I dont know that Indian reservations  exist nowadays. I though they were in past.

Sir StacksALot:
Thanks for the beautiful pictures of the coins.
Unfortunately, they are not legal coins and not issued by the U.S. Mint.
Perhaps the U.S. Mint Director should visit the Indian reservations and try to learn how to mint beautiful coins

SILVER----LOS COYOTE TRIBE HAS A NICE SET WITH A DIFFERENT DESERT ANIMAL ON THE REVERSE SIDE AS THE LAND BELONGING TO THEM IS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA--------TO PURCHASE THEM AND OTHERS LOOK THEM UP BY NAME AND LOOK ON E-BAY BECAUSE THE PRICES VERY-

Nice coins. I like them. But I don't think I personally would pay very much for non-legal tender coins that don't contain any precious metals.
