POP UP ADS.........

HAVE ANY OF YOU BEEN BOTHERED BY SALES ADDS POPPING UP WHILE YOU ARE ON LINE?-------It is a real problem for me and I was hoping some of you computer genious's could tell me how to stop them
THEY POP UP IN A 3X3 SPOT TO THE RIGHT OF MY SCREEN FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS BEFORE YOU CAN CLICK IT CLOSED----------ANYTHING WOULD BE APPRECIATED SHORT OF TOSSING MY COMPUTER.............

Might need to know what browser you are using, i.e Internet explorer, Firefox etc.

Not sure if it is the same thing happening on your computer,  but we had some aware hop on our computer that sounds similar to what you are experiencing.  It also redirected our browser toolbar to some terrible search engine.  It did have that small box pop up too.  The program piggybacked on our computer from another program that my wife downloaded.  Did you recently download any programs at the same time that you first noticed the pop-ups?

I have NOscript and adblockplus on firefox
Yesterday a program managed to install that directed adds to my browser
The first time it tried to execute Norton Internet Security removed the program

adaware has free programs if you do not have a good antivirus program
