Knights Gathering August 2014

Tonight I had the pleasure of spending a good part of the evening with Sir Nighthawk and Sir Templar at Sir Templar's house here in Livonia, Michigan.  I was delighted to meet Lady Templar and also snuck in for a moment to say hello and get a hug from Lady Nighthawk.
We talked about anything and everything including coins and I was happy to get to see some of Sir Templar favorite items.

I brought my new book with me to share, about chop marked coins written by Colin Gullberg and debuted at ANA this past month.  I also brought a token from the TNA to give to both my friend knights as something a little unique from Texas.

I had a great time and want to say thank you again to both Sirs Nighthawk and Templar for inviting me out. Hope to see them again soon!

We certainly did have a good time this evening!! Joe also showed us some of his coins & currency from his collection, some of which I had never before seen. Hope you come back soon Tracy! We enjoyed your company and the fellowship! Nothing like sitting down and talking numismatics with fellow collectors!

WELL WHAT A NIGHT-----I GOT TO MEET ELLIE KITTY IN PERSON----SHE IS IN MICHIGAN FROM TEXAS FOR A FEW DAYS AND THE LAST TIME HER BUSINESS BROUGHT HER HERE, I WAS ILL AND MISSED HER------SIR NIGHTHAWK PICKED HER UP FROM THE HOTEL AND BROUGHT HER OVER AND WE HAD A VERY PLEASANT VISIT........I HAD LIVED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS AS A BOY AND IT WAS GREAT TALKING ABOUT HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED----WE DISCUSSED VARIOUS COINS AND CURRENCY AND NIGHTHAWK AND I TALKED ABOUT SIR GEORGE'S VISIT A FEW MONTHS AGO---WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD---I HOPE WHEN SOME OF YOU GET A CHANCE TO TRAVEL YOU WILL TAKE TIME TO VISIT WITH OTHER KNIGHTS IF THE CHANCE ARISES-----MORE LATER.........

It's great to see you guys getting together. I feel so lonely now, being so far away from everyone else.
In the past though, I have met Humpybong, Nancy and Goose.

A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WE PICKED A DAY NEUTRAL TIME FOR AS MANY KNIGHTS AS POSSIBLE TO O TO THE CHAT ROOM AND WE HAD A Great NUMBER ---THAT WAS UNIQUE-----IF WE COULD GET THE CHAT ROOM IN ORDE AND THEN PICK A DAY AND TIME-----MAYBE WE COULD TRY IT AGAIN--------THINK ABOUT  IF...........

Hmmm, I don't think it was that recent. 

We haven't even had 83 members for a long time now, and the chat room get together was some years ago. Possibly as far back as 5 or 6 years.

Current member count is 43.

The Chat Room was seperate software integrated into the castle software that no longer works.....so sorry no more Chat Room possible.


Guess you will have to make it  a subject where everyone types into the subject.

WELL WE HAVE DONE A VARIETY OF THINGS IN  THE PAST--MAYBE WE COULD PICK A DATE AND ANYONE ABLE COULD TYPE IN A HELLO AND A MESSAGE---TALK TO SOMEONE AND SEE HOW MANY WE COULD GET IN SAY A 10  HOUR TIME SPAN------SOME THING TO THINK ABOUT..........
