The 2 1/2 shilling coin has a cat on it. ... Must ... have. ><
Do add this coin to my collection?
Cat? Australian? US? Really Old?

I know of which type you speak, the KM#4 Aluminum, or the KM# 5 Crown Silver, 1969 2 1/2 Shilling. Wickedly tough to find, especially #5 which is listed as rare. They are nice to have though.

I haven't seen any Biafran coins in a while. They are a lot less common in the international collecting market because most of them made it to Nigeria during the war or if they didn't were melted. Unlike the banknotes which after 1970 became worthless and the printer was left with loads of them that they dumped into the market afterwards, so many so that they were like 5¢ notes if you purchased them.
