She may have suffered metal fatigue that killed some Liberty Ships
It was a long time before this metal fatigue was recognized
and yet when you want to break a metal stick you bent is several times in
the opposite direction and it soon breaks

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know
All I know is that I'am on my way

Oh, you remember 'Mood Rings' when you mentioned your jewels turned blue. For youngsters, 'Mood Rings' were  jeweled rings that changed color with mood changes....actually temperature. Joe, were you wearing a lot of rings.....or only 2 of them?

A lovely little church it is, hidden right in the middle of Downtown Detroit. I walked past it several times before I realized just what it was and what it signified.

Do add this coin to my collection?

I grabbed a CD to play in the car on the way to work.
Just a compilation of my favourite songs.
Just happened to have "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" included on it.

It amazed me, how two modern warships could collide. OK it was at night, but surely they still had radar.

Remember it well. While not on either ship I was near by. Bad Night and a couple days after.  :o What amazes' me most is all the photos from the Russian ship Krasny Krin.  ???  ??? We always knew the ship was around, but never really thought about her taking photos I reckon.

We steamed with the JFK. They  just did
what they wanted and signaled about
it whenever they got around to it. Sometimes
sooner if they just cut  someone in half.
