US map labeled by an Australian
November 02, 2013, 02:17:27 AM
This map of the United States, purportedly labeled by an Aussie.

Do our friends down under agree with the labels?

He got a few of the states correct. Ohio is way off.
I know where the other Washington is.

The only reason we have only 7 states and territories,
is it got too hard. So they they drew a line down the last
one third of the country and called it Western Australia.
They didn't think there was any thing worth having over here.
I bet they are sorry now. W.A. is the economic powerhouse of
Australia.

Left Canada ?(aka Alaska in which the U S paid 7-1/2 cents an acre (3 cents a hectare) in 1867)
East Virginia?
Wibbly Rectangle ?.........they all look O K to me. And I live in North Montana.....I should know.
