2x2 coin holders
August 29, 2013, 02:25:29 AM
I found this :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1000-2X2-U-PICK-COIN-FLIPS-S-H-FREE-/230847529640
Is it really or fake ? I think the price not bad for one thousand pieces. I have huge problenms wist storage my better coins. In past sent me holders triggersmob but I have much more coins without cover. I fear that the coins will rust. Unfortunately I dont have any account and I can to send money just in letter. I dont trade on ebay but If the price is really I will try to find similar in shops.

Erik, that is a good price at 3.1 cents each. I buy around 50 at a time at a coin shop at 5 cents each ($2.50)......and I pick out the various sizes I need. When I need more, I just buy more. That is easier than buying a large quantity and have them around until used.....possibly a few years.

Goose I agree with you but I have more as 500 coins without cover. I had those coins in bad albums and they began to rust. I found this later and then immediately I destroyed these covers. I know many of them are lower quality but I would like to take care of them. There are many coins from my friends and they are the memory of them. Now it will be better and cheaper to find more holders diferent size. Of course I need more with bigger hole as smaller.

Erik, ask the seller if you could order the sizes you need. Then ask what the shipping will be to the Slovak Republic, it might be high. Overall, it might be cheaper to buy them locally.

With shipping those 2x2's work out to be about 5.5c each, which is good.
The last time I bought some from Air-tite in the U.S, they worked out about 6c each
and that was years ago, I bought 6000, so they would last a while.

I have idea .... May be if will be interest some collectors in our castle. I think most collectrors use those holders. If we buy several thousand pieces we can do the cheapest price for us. We can do offer list as for example for medailon. Finally somebody of us may buy holders the cheapest. Let's try to discuss about it. I dont know but here are many experienced collectors.

Erik, I don't think you will buy them any cheaper. Last time I bought them, I asked how many I would have to buy to get a better discount and the reply was, they do not give any more discount.
