Coins for Christmass
December 25, 2012, 01:58:58 AM
You just know your wife loves you when after all the odd and unusual gifts you get for Christmass you find the box!!! Not just any box, but a box full of unusual world coins.  ;D  ;D  ;D Now that's true love.  ;D ;D ;D Either that or she just wants some time to her self and finely figured out how to get it.  :o I'd better think about this. Nay, just enjoy the coins  ;D  ;D  ;D

Congratulations  ;D And Merry Christmas! We haven't opened gifts yet. I'll let you know if I get any coins. My dad usually orders some things from the U.S. mint to give away.

No coins for me. :(
I received two DVDs, Series 5 of Dexter and series 6 of Dexter.
Dexter is my favourite TV show. ;D

I received 2 Napalese coins and 6 Napalese notes. I don't know what the denomination of the coins are, but the notes are a 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and a 500 rupee notes. Seeing that the Napalese rupee is worth 1.15 cent, I have a thrilling total of 685 rupees ...... $7.88 converted to the U S dollar......not including the 2 coins.

No coins for me this year. My brother gave me beer though, so I'll count that as a success.

Steve, I have a few grandkids showing me how to use various electronic items. Yesterday (Christmas in the U S) I spent 1-1/2 hrs with a 14 yr old grandkid showing me a few (and a LOT of) things on the iPod I just received. Tomorrow's venture is for her to show me how to post pictures on the net. I hope I can get some pics posted shortly.

My brother in the US sent me a complete set of P mint marked state quarters from circulation in an album plus some other US modern coins.

My stepson got me a three circulated krona coins from Sweden (1969, 1973, and 2004).

My stepdaugther got me two six pences (1952 and 1957).

I bought myself a 2013 Silver Britannia this month, so I guess this can count as a Christmas present as well.
