OUR HISTORY PART 2
October 24, 2007, 05:59:49 AM
Sorry Gary, This was accidently wiped out so it will have to be recreated in the future. Will get with you soon to make arrangements to do so.

I knew you would be proud of me! I tried to remove a lot of unneccessary names, signatures and ect. to save space and it may have backfired on me just a wee bit? Boy, you click on one wrong button and bamm!!! Whoops?

*Trying not to laugh.*  I do hope someone kept a copy of this important document elsewhere?

Do add this coin to my collection?

I assume Gary has most of it. I was trying to remove a lot of names, signature lines and wide open spaces when my boo-boo took place. Just trying to clean it up a bit!

Well, here's a tip for the future. :)

When editting important documents on the Forum, copy/paste them into Notepad, or Word, and do your editting there.  Then you can replace the old text with the new when you are satisfied with the changes, and be safe from accidental hit and run deletings like this :)

I'm not sure which unneccessary names thou was trying to do away with whilst cleaning up, but the historian in me says remember the past.

When I was but a sprout I remember reading about how the Soviet Union was working on de-Stalinisation.  Getting rid of all vestiges of the man might have made them feel better, but it also destroyed history.

Let's remember what we have been through in hopes of not repeating past mistakes,

There was a ton of places were there was nothing but signatures and sig lines. It seems my intentions, while good in nature, may have back fired on me?

Terry,

I'll turn the history section over to you.

Gary, My goal here is for us to keep our history intact and you have done MORE than anyone here in doing so. Quite frankly I cannot come close to repeating that which you have done and recorded. Please accept my apology if I have offended you as I wish for you to continue as our royal scribe and will see that you get the freedom to post our history as it was and is recorded. For the most part I just wanted to clean out all the signatures and spaces!

I will keep my prying little fingers out of this section and your efforts!

 :D

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Some times it happens.   I too have done the deletion, by accidentaly.

I am sure, the History Part 2 can be re-written or some one have the copy.  Nothing to worry about it.

Sincerely
George/India

It is by giving others, we actually receive from G

One of my New Year's Resolutions will be to re-do our history, and clean up the uneccessary stuff.

In addition I pledge to get going on the new Knights/Knightesses numbering list before it becomes even more difficult to re-construct.

Tonight (Dec. 31) is newspaper night for me, and tomorrow (Jan. 1) will probably be spent with the family.

So, I hope to get it in gear by Wednesday.

Thanks to all for your patience!!
