Barry,

I'm sure that would be fine.

We just need to wait and see if Terry or I made a mistake.

If there truly are 11 left over, then you are on record as having put your bid in for extra ones.

I'll send an e-mail to Daniel Carr (in case he doesn't see this thread), and maybe he can cast some light on our positive delimma.

Well, we could give one to TKO.

And then there are always new Knights that might want to buy one the way I did?

Do add this coin to my collection?

If there are spares that no one else particularly wants,  you can put me down for one more.  I doubt that you'll have too much trouble finding homes for them though.

I'll take an extra one too, if there are any left over after the new Knights have been offered them.

There is a slight possibility I emailed Daniel about adding an additional 10 extra medallions but I have slept since then so I am not absolutely sure. None the less there will be NO PROBLEM getting them sold as we can see here. Assuming there are extras they will need to be sold as quickly as possible so Gary can get settled up with D. Carr. Get in touch with him and make arrangements to do so and I would suggest one of two things. We can take orders as they are posted in this thread or wait a few days and put all the names in a hat and have a drawing for the lucky recipients? There are 8 already spoken for in this thread so only 3 more can be sold if we just go by these requests? Whatever is decided is fine with me but we do NEED to act on this very quickly for Gary, Pat and Daniels sake!

And there is the possibility of satisfying everyones needs as I believe Daniel said a second striking would be no problem with these? Lets take the orders and see how many is needed but keep in mind, should I be wrong, there are 11 guaranteed at this time and it seems 8 are already spoken for!

I'm happy Terry added his two cents worth.

Now, next problem.

Do I start mailing out the medals before learning who gets the extra ones?

I suppose I could mail them out, and then if I need to mail out extra ones to the same people, I'll do it.  Any thoughts?

I am happy to wait due to the cost of mailing to Australia, should only cause a delay for a day or 2.

The same with the extra medals.....I only asked for them if they were spare....if someone else, who does not have one, would like them ...fine happy to let them have it.

If not happy to take any that are left.

CoinCrusader I would start sending them out and at the same time accept payment for the extras. We can then tie up loose ends with the 2007 medallion quest as the 2008 crusade is bearing down on us!  It has been fun and we all have learned a lot with the help of Daniel Carr. Next year should be somewhat easier! I would, if I were you, send all the Aussies to one address and let them be distributed from there? I am sure Barry and or Nevol would be interested in helping on their end.

Yep...no worries they can be sent to me and I will do the local postage.

Just make sure the value declared is under AUD1000.00 to be except from any Customs Duties and GST.

All CoinCrusader has to do is mark it as hobby supplies, check gift and put a value of $20 on the customs declaration. One thing is for certain they are NOT money!!! Just gifts for Aussie friends!

As per bm1947's post, if anyone else who doesn't already have one on the way wants a 63mm medallion, then please feel free to offer them my "spare' one. I offered to take another one to help find homes for them. Having said that, if no-one wants it, I'll still take it.

We really can't have these lovely things being homeless orphans with nobody to care for them.  :'( :'(   ;D ;D

Happy to help out in any way.

For tonight, I'll just say that I will start the mailing process tomorrow (Wednesday).

Those who have posted their wants should pay me via PayPal.

Tomorow I will be in Grand Junction (40 miles away) to see my coin dealer and take care of other business.  When I return, I will start packaging the medals, and then should have the first bunch at the post office on Thursday.

These are great medals, and I can assure you that you will really like them.

Okay Gang, I'm off to bed.

Before I go, here is my understanding of the dispensation (heck of a word) of the 11 extra medals.  Feel free to make corrections.

Barry -- Two
Nevol -- One
Triggersmob -- One
tyjulie -- Three
BurkeM -- One
TKO -- One (It was suggested his be a free medal due to all his help)

That leaves Two Medals Remaining.

Those listed above can make payment however you wish.  PayPal is fine.

All medals for Australians will be mailed to Barry.

 :) :) :) :)

Gary, my payment will be a few days away.  I transferrred funds to Paypal yesterday & got a message advising it will be 5-7 working days before
the funds are available. I will send payment as soon as I can, and will let you know when it's been sent.

CoinCrusader has stated these medallions are really exceptional and, like it or not, more attractive due to their size than the 38mm medallions, and there is only 2 left from the extras received so if you WANT one please POST NOW! As soon as Gary and Pat get these in the mail I will make amends for their expenses and we shall move forward with our 2008 quests!

They are $10.00 plus a $1 for postage for a total of $11 and arrangements must be made with CoinCrusader immediately so we can wrap up the 2007 medallion quest.

Morgaine and dustin43160 appear to be the two last members to get the 63MM medals.

I'll start mailing them out Thursday.
