Back to work ...
June 11, 2009, 12:20:23 AM
Since the economy took a nose dive this year we lost a few major contracts. So I have been home for several months with just the occasional trip here and there. Great for the family life not so great for the pocketbook. Well that changes this week end.
I have to move a rig from Malta to Libya. So Saturday I fly to London for a meeting. Tuesday I go to Malta, then wait x number of days for paperwork. Then move the rig to Libya. fly to Triploli, fly to Rome, fly to Newark, then on home to Houston. I will be away fro around a month. Probably will not have any internet access so its cold turkey for me.

It would be a good time to pick up the various countries' coins.

Libya would be a prime place for your machine to do it's work, lots and lots of Roman ruins there.  The original Carthage was there.  Next to Sicily the Carthaginian coinage is some of the loveliest, with Tanit and the horse on the reverse.
