1834 Trumon
October 26, 2007, 12:16:49 PM
I picked this up at the last coin show, along with a bunch of Swiss Canton coins. I put it under the QX5, and lo and behold, I found a shatter dies error coin. Surprised the heck out of me, as the dealer evidently didn't notice the cracks.

Can you share a little bit about this coin, other than the errors?  I'm not at all familiar with this one and it looks so interesting!

Do add this coin to my collection?

Trumon was in northwest Sumatra. This coin is in the catalogs under Indonesia, Tn2, 1 Keping, 1834. I actually saw another one of these coins at the show today, but no die cracks, and it wasn't in good of shape.
