Thank you, Amr. :)
I will let you know when it arrives.

I am still very annoyed that my two parcels got lost on their way to you. >:(

I now send ALL of my packages by air mail and insure them for the minimum AUD100.

That way I can track them and if they go astray I get AUD100 to replace the loss.

Me too Barry.
I lost some packages heading to the states and since then i use registered, insured mail.
This way also prevent any post employee from taking any of my coins.

My HUGE package of KOTCT Medals will be off to Australia on Monday.  Sent by registered mail.

Will be very relieved when I know the package has arrived at Humpybong's residence.  The value contained in that box is very high.

It will soon be on its way, and we'll hope for the best.

Hope the value is NOT greater than AUD1000, otherwise Australian Customs will get involved and 10% GST will need to be paid.

I make the value of the medals ordered US$918, NOT including the value of the freebies from Daniel Carr.  ???

I hope Gary didn't have to declare the true $ value for US Customs, or we Aussies could all be up for a bit more.  ;)

Might have to remember this for future Medals and split the Aussie consignment into a couple smaller packages.

XE.com conversion:  918.00 USD = 1,362.35 AUD.......Ouch.

Hi Gang!

Following is a cut-and-paste from Twoshadows' e-mail to me regarding how to send your medals.

Send the packages to Australia and Turkey by Registered Mail. Insurance is basically worthless after it leaves the country so don't bother. ($40 is all you will get) Registered Mail will take a tad bit longer but is 99.9% guaranteed to be delivered. A Registered Mail package must be in a white envelope or box and have every edge covered with brown shipping tape to prevent any tampering from any direction. Also lie on the customs declaration. Use the term hobby supplies and keep the value to Australia below $100. Do the same for the other foreign deliveries but list the value at $10. Check them all as a GIFT! Just go Registered by air mail first class as they call it now. At least here they do!

OK?

Will mail the package this afternoon, unless I receive different instructions.

All arrived safely, although the package was damp, so it must of got wet somewhere. This did not affect the contents though.
Thanks for the extra info you e-mailed me too. Very helpful.

The turtle has landed.......

Most packages have been repacked and posted by express mail to all.

Only need latman's address as I do not have that one in my files.
