Remembering Why I am Here!!!
December 29, 2008, 12:58:13 PM
Being off for the holidays has given me the opportunity to spend a little more time seaching the net. I have checked out some of the other forums that I belong too and have not frequented for quite some time. Finally decided to put a few coins up for sale so I made a post concerning 3 of them last Tuesday. I was quite shocked when all 3 sold very quickly, payment was made and they were all delivered by today. With that in mind I decided to post my intentions of selling the other two this evening. Well within a few hours I received an email from a moderator (ex-old forum friend from days gone past) advising me the post was a violation of their strict rules and regulations. It had been deleted for violating their 7 day policy. Seems I was about 12 hours from having 7 days on last weeks posting so I needed my fingers slapped? >:(  It was an immediate reminder what it was like to have forum Gods protecting all the membership from things they did not need protection from. Now I know why I am STILL here and why this castle was built in the first place. A great number of us RAN here to be free from stupid rules and regulations or a few people who have never held a title in their lives, but when they do make moderator-----behold their new powers over the little people! That is why we are FREE to post, buy, sell and trade, without restrictions or fear of reprisals. We are COIN COLLECTORS aren't we? I am just thankful we have NO advertisers to satisfy, no daily reprimands to hand out and NO ONE to bow before!!!
We are all equal and so shall we remain equal.

I post on two forums Capitalstool and this one
On Capitalstool the owner banned soooo many that there are like 6 gold(mine) investors left
The forum takes 30 seconds to load using 2 Giga because of all the adds
One wrong word will ban you for a week or forever
I have never been banned there cause I worked for Monsanto 23 years and I understand Mericans after having had a dozen as bosses
Why do I stay there ? Because they brag about their "friendship" with governors and bankers and journalists and they like to show off what they know and you cannot find that info on Bloomberg because once in a while they give "inside" information

Now this forum nor any american forum will ever have what most german forums have
a) Total disregard for what is politically correct and agreeing about it ( inside and outside the country)
b) Posting certain pictures casually ( like an all female army topless to guard their goldmine ) (One of them has a goldmine in South Africa)

What I agree on is that all the other forums are just Money Machines and they don't like the competition Twoshadows is giving them
This post is not a critique on the forum but on the american attitude . Like no small bikinis at Daytona Beach but triple XXX films in any shop

It is really good to get an outsiders view of some of the crap that goes on in this country. Take for instance the millions and millions of dollars spent on the war against cigarettes but not one red cent has been spent on the largest single cause of cancer in the U.S., which has been documented by every major industrialized nation in the world and shown of national TV twice. People are breathing, on a daily basis, much worse than what a cigarette can do to you, working in places no man should breath and on the way home stopping off to pick up a gallon of cancer causing Homogenized and Pasteurized Milk for the kids! We are the only nation in the world with cancer clinics for children spread out all over the nation and no one is asking why? I can't help but wonder when I will finally see a warning on milk cartons which states, "Drinking milk may be hazardous to your health, especially children."
And lets not forget the billions spent on a drug war and the millions spent on worthless laws, which are made every year in 50 states, to replace other worthless laws that did not work, and will not serve any purpose what so ever other than consume money. If a man or woman is going to do drugs, smoke, drink or rob banks all the laws in the world won't stop them. Why do we as a nation continue to think like a bunch of fools and elect people to do that which cannot be done. We have finally reached a point where you can be arrested for just owning the items to make drugs or arrested for having a drink on the way home, even though you aren't intoxicated, and have NOT caused problems or had a wreck. (Kind of like a sober driver who just has NOT made a mistake yet?) Oh, I forgot the judges and lawyers need the money which, for the most part is NEVER accounted for.
Our governments through the year has wasted unfathomable amounts of money on stupid programs and will continue to do so as long as the self appointed, self righteous fanatics, led by the politically correct, keeping voicing their opinions on how to save us all while the working men and women are doing what is required to feed the money hungry bottomless pit we call government.
Sorry for the rant! Here have a big glass of milk! The cows will love you for it and, sooner or later, so will your doctor! Only, when the time comes, they can't tell you why as the milk industry is heavily subsidized by the all knowing government!

The problem with cowmilk is that it may have too much of residual antibiotics in it which may make you immune to antibiotics if you need them
not to speak about the Monsanto product Bovine Somatropine which even ended up in the X series of Agent Scully
It is an artificial hormone that makes the cows give 10% more milk with as sideeffect possible infections of the udders that might lead to more antibiotics etc
Now you might think soyamilk . Well not me . I am not going to knowingly have anything with a genetically modified product in it ( possibly ) allthough it is or was illegal to import it into Europe .
Me I want whiskey with possibly nitrosoamine in it so that I get an happy cancer that is contained by drinking more of the whiskey
That is the ultimate marketers dream apart from cigs of course

I am not opposed to anything NATURAL, whether if be food or drink, but I have a problem with all the crap made for money and only money. It always kills me when the talk of the testing before a new product is released. Tested on who? And for how long? Some man made products are praised today and killing you tomorrow. Anyone for a little DDT or how about a nice big bowl of artificial sugar? Our funeral directors are now saying the average dead body can lay for days without decomposing due to the high levels of preservatives in our system. Hey, maybe that's how the Egyptians did it? ;D
Don't you love the drug commercials on TV? Saw one recently for skin rashes and one of the side effects was DEATH. Made me want to rush out and purchase some right away for the ole skin rash. And, if death doesn't get you the destroyed body parts, over a period of time, will probably bring about the same results. Would risking your life for a minor skin problelm really be wise? Who buys into this bull?
As for as I am concerned EVERYTHING we need to grow and survive is all right here on the planet along with all the cures for what ailes us. But, regardless of what they may claim, modern medicine does NOT want a cure for cancer, heart disease and many other big money illness as it would dry up millions in grants, research money and profits. Too many people in the world anyhow!
Boy, I have been a real rip today haven't I?  I guess I might be a tad bit disturbed with governments and the filthy rich who use the rest of the world as their guinea pigs. Anything for money!!!

Paint Your Wagon, if I remember correctly, it was the pasteurization process that was causing the problem in our milk. While it did what it was supposed to do it also created the problem we are now pouring into our children. I love their slogan; "Drink More Milk!"  but they need to finish it with, "And Die Sooner!"

On an exclusive german forum I was slapped for posting a request and banter asking for a chart of Anglogold in South African rand
I had been specially invited for my knowledge in grading coins and economic knowledge because it was an invitation only forum
I told them what I said to Mensa 40 years ago ( I tested IQ 144 plus and they wanted me in their little club but they wanted a stiff
yearly contribution so I told them at 144+ I was too clever to pay money to guys that WANTED ME )
So I told that german forum to eff off and that is the nice thing ; they did
Mom and dad tried to talk to me  :P

The problem with cowmilk is that it may have too much of residual antibiotics in it which may make you immune to antibiotics if you need them
Solution; Goat products...........
Goat meat is lower in fat and cholesterol, and comparable to chicken. It also has more minerals than chicken, and is lower in total and saturated fats than many other meats.

Goats milk, which can be drunk fresh, although pasteurization is recommended but not necessary. Goat's milk can be processed into cheese, butter, and ice cream. Goat's milk is naturally homogenized, and the cream remains suspended in the milk, instead of rising to the top, as in raw cow's milk.

I am sorry but I like sheep  ;D Especially the leg with garlic in the oven
Cream is only good to make Steak au poivre flambé à la crème
( you pour alcohol over a steak and put it on fire and then extinguish the fire with cream and put green round fresh pepper in and let cook till thick sauce of course after the burning you put the steak aside outside the pan and serve with french fries )

Sir Twoshadows:

I agree with your views on smoking.  I have lost 2 very good friends due to lung cancer.  I remember Mr.Henry O. Edmonson and His Father, both passed away due to lung cancer.  Mr.Henry was a very good friend and brother.

On this New Year eve, I rember him and the great coins he sent me.

It is by giving others, we actually receive from G

Well I got up this morning with a whole new attitude. I am promising myself I will not complain about a thing today! ;D It will take much more than a few guys whining to straighten all the wrongs out in the world and I am not sure if I want to see that mess or not.

High winds and colder air have moved into my neck of the woods. Been pretty pleasant for this time of year but all good things must end. The way I see it any day over freezing is one day closer to spring. Now if we can just squeeze through Jan. and Feb. I can live with the horrors of March in the midwest! Thirty one days of "brace yourself"!

There now, staying on topic AGAIN!!!
