Chatroom get together

I'd like to propose another meeting in the chatroom as a belated KOTC Birthday get together.

Date: Sat/Sunday 8th/9th November, 10am Sunday Sydney time. If I get a few in agreement over the next few days, I'll send PM to all members.

The respective timezones can be found on the following website.  I realize once again that the time will be difficult (or impossible) for some to attend, but .....

Seems like a good idea. I will only be able to make it for 15 mins at this time though. Then I have to leave for work.

Kurt, Kitty and I had a nice chat a week or two ago. Afterwards I was thinking about organizing another big get together, but then I forgot about it. I can probably attend.

I should be able to pop in for a while, but wouldn't be able to stay very long.

I'll do what I can to get this up and going. I keep fairly precise notes on what I need to do and the girls thought they would use the notebook as a coloring book since I had already used up the pages.

Yes, it was a nice chat a week ago, although I think the server hung up after a while.

I'll do my best to get it all in order. Their are bigger things needing done here and it will take every ounce of extra time I have to put it in order.

Be safe rather than sorry.  TKO probably hasn't had a lot of time to work on the chatroom, and so postponing our get together chat is probably a good idea.

Beaver, that's exactly our quandary.  The Chatroom is currently unavailable for maintenance, and it isn't there to be found. However, under normal circumstances, the chatroom would be among the links in capital letters at the top of the page, in the blue bar.

TKO - just want to check re the new chat set-up. If there are lots of people on line, will the full conversation for that 'session' still be visible for those who join in at a later date, or will only a certain number of interaction show up at any one time?

Only 1 response so far ....... I guess on that note we maybe leave it fot a while

I can set the total amount of responses to whatever we need to see. I set it to 25 initially so old messages wouldn't dominate the ChatBox. When we get together for our group chat, I will set it to a higher number.
