    If you look closely you can see it is actually a shattered die coin. I have blow-ups of all the die cracks.

    Oops, you are correct. I changed it. I accidentally posted the Wisman under Mecklenburg Schwerin coin instead of the Danzig coin

By the way, beware of cheapo Danzig bronze coin copies. I know there are a lot of them - the 1 and 2 pfennig fakes appeared fairly recently..

How does one spot a fake?

The main differences seem to be the wrong weight, wrong thickness and die chips in field on the fakes.
