Crock of Coins Giveaway!!
June 09, 2008, 06:07:00 PM
Tomorrow (Tuesday) morning I will mail muckeye's gift "foreign" coins to four recipients -- AdamL, Arthrene, Snooba (20% for Vaughan), and Topher (20% for two kids).

I will not ask for postage payment.  If muckeye is good enough to provide the coins, then I will pay for the postage.

The mailings won't be fancy, just coins in a bubble wrap envelope, with plenty of tape.

The only "cherry picking" I did was for several British coins which I collect.  This was something muckeye invited me to do.

Coin Girl and Coin Boy selected what they wanted, and a fast count shows I have about 370 coins to divide up.  The dividing will be at random, and I hope everyone enjoys the coins.

Please let us know when you receive your coins.

H Gary, very generous of you to offer free postage.
As I had not seen the coins, I did offer Gary the option to noodle around for anything that caught his eye. Maybe a fair exchange.
I hope all recipients get a little joy.
regards,

A big thank you to both of you gentleman.  I haven't told my kids yet, but I know they will enjoy it.  My daughter has even taken to roll hunting with me, and found me a doubled date 1979 Canadian cent this past weekend.  She's definitely daddy's little girl!

Thanks to both of the generous knights involved in this!!! :)
I know a few of the coins I receive will make their way into the collection we've already started for my 1 year old nephew ;D

Coins mailed today (Tuesday).

Should arrive in U.S, and Canada locations around Thursday or Friday.  Probably 10 days to Australia.

Since grandkids Coin Girl (Tricia), and Coin Boy (Daniel) are not yet members of KOTCT, thay have asked me to thank muckeye for his kindness in provided all those "foreign" coins.

They have enjoyed them, and will continue to enjoy them in times to come.

So from two happy kids -- thanks muckeye!!
