                                   "Got rope?"

They're selling us out to anyone with some cash to pay. Even Spain is buying the rights to charge tolls on U.S Highways.  They are not going to be happy until they have Piratized everything, except of course congressional and other  federal employee pensions. The rats are jumping ship, something they typically are not known to do unless it's sinking.

On a completely wild and superstitious tangent maybe the Twin Towers going down was a harbinger of things to come in U.S Finance? The two biggest financial buildings in what is, or maybe was, the financial capitol of the world, crumbled to the ground. There  are people right now speaking of London as the new world capital for finance. The Twin Towers remind me of the Edmund Fitzgerald sinking in the Lake Superior in 1975--carrying 26,000 tons of iron ore. Yeah I know, I'm being superstitious but what direction has  industry gone in the Great Lakes since 1975?

Industry in the Great Lakes?  All I see are 198 miles of roads that the county commission says it has no money to repair, 166 miles of them are classed as failing.  Emergency services are being cut, because the tax base actually went down, and they re-assessed much of the property around here - down!

There is discussion of building a huge power plant here, but the environmentalists will shoot that down.  Will the last person out please turn off the lights, if there are any?

I remember all the upset after 9/11 and Katrina at dealers selling gas for $5 a gallon.  But after a few months all the agitation died down and nothing happened.  It never does.  I will tell you bluntly, I worked for a major petrol refiner for 7 years back in the late 1980's and early 1990's and they DO create shortages, scuppered refining capacity etc.  When it comes time to call for it, the fingers point everywhere but where they should.  You can blame demand, the government, summer formulas, high sulphur petrol stock, then they like to point out that something like 35% of a price of a gallon of gas is taxes etc.

This is a copy of a post I made on the investment forum I visit hourly

Somebody from one of my NOT internet banks phoned me and said he was my new personel adviser
He asked to see me in person
I told him I trusted NO banks and he said our bank was small on a world wide scale
( after all we only lost 6 billion euro sofar said I) and that we should not be worried because if everything went wrong somebody would assimilate us ( seven of eleven would have liked that being ass similated by the borg )
He noticed I only got goldmines and wanted to give his vision
I told him his bank got mentioned on the front page of my paid investment lettre as giving 4% to anybody below the age of 2
He toke that in his stride
So I told him politaly to phone me back when his bank gives 4 % net to me
He said he was NOT prepared for that question
So tomorrow I will be transferring out a lot of money from his bank to one that is even smaller because he may be right the smaller the safer for the investor

Seriously what kind of banking insurance do you have in Belgium and the EU?  Here it is $100K per person, per account.  In Britain I believe it is a mere £20K or so.

Speculators cannot make a living unless there is a weakness that they can exploit. But the monkeys  in the "news" media  always spin the  effects rather than focus on the  cause.  The weakness (THE CAUSE) that speculators are all to happy to exploit is Ben Bernanke. The fed has flooded the world with cheap liquidity and speculators  are all too happy to borrow the money for a song and speculate with it. Every economic SNAFU has a central bank somewhere as the cause but they are always hailed as the great saviors.

Soros was vilified back in the days when he actually was a Capitalist, for shorting the British Pound, which needed to be taken down to the river and drowned just as the Dollar needs that today.  The media monkeys called him "The man broke the Bank of England" rather than what they  should have called him: The man who successfully threw
Humpty -Dumpty off the wall.

Bernanke's got whole freaking army of Humpty-Dumpty's. But that's okay. Sooner or later the Visigoths will show up; I hear they like a challenge.

"That which is about to topple

Ok first the insurance state controlled company is so underfunded it will not survive one medium bank failing IMO
Second Belgium is one of the countries with the lowest insurance of 20 000 Euro per depositor so a husband and wife get 40 000 euro coverage per bank
The situation of electronic shares is not clear since a bank is supposed only to have them on deposit they are supposed to be returned on bankrupcy ; If not it looks like a separate 20 000 Euro insurance comes into play.
All neighbouring countries have better insurance but using a bank outside Belgium has to be declared on the tax income form  ???
PS I think 20 000 is the EU minimum and every country is allowed to do better

Do you remember the FedEx commercial from the 80's--"You'll get it."
It was someone who needed some slides for a presentation and the sender used an inferior carrier. The guy is frantic--"I need those slides by Wednesday for presentation"  The other end of the phone lines shows some dreg kicked backed saying "you'll  get it."

"No really, I need those slides by Wednesday for a presentation."

"You'll get it."

"I'll get fired if those aren't here by Wednesday."

"You'll get it."

It ends with the former frantic caller making  shadow butterflies on the screen to a room full of executives.

FedEx used to have some of the  funniest commercials.

Now how stupid is that? Why didn't they SAVE the government some money and put the darn check in that envelope. I got news for you! There will be another letter telling you, about the week before, that they will be sending you the check the following week!  :o Even at bulk rate the idiots at the IRS are spending around a buck per person to tell you the check is in the mail and then sending out another letter telling you what to do if you don't get it? How many MILLIONS will they spend on this stupidity? They sure wouldn' want me to take over as I would clean this huge cesspool like its never been cleaned before. Also would eliminate income tax in favor of a national sales tax so the RICH couldn't get out of paying taxes. They would have to anny up ever time they blew the mold of off their wallets! And, last but not least, at least YOU got a letter!!! I still have NOT been stimulated!!! ;D

Twoshadows,

I thought of the same thing.  What a waste of postage, and manpower.

Also, I agree completely about the need for a flat tax of some sort.  It won't happen in my lifetime unfortunately.  Just think how many people it would put out of business.  You don't need a book to spell out the tax code.  Just a paragraph.  Everybody pays 10 percent.

Just won't fly in Washington D.C. I guess.

Taxes are what one HAS to pay without volunteering. Last yr my taxes were around 40% of my income. This yr it will be close to 76% of my income due to a "special" assesment on my property.

"The art of taxation consists in so plucking the goose as to obtain the largest possible amount of feathers with the smallest amount of hissing." Jean-Baptiste Colbert --Treasurer to Louis XIV

And so it goes....8 taxes on my phone bill, 7 taxes on my electric bill, 5 taxes on my water bill, and the new and increased taxes continue! How about an "Agricultural" tax on a plane ticket, or a "Well Abandoment" tax on my water bill (who owns the land?), or a "Resource Adjustment Tax" on a few of my bills? Yes, I vote my wallet, and NO incumbent ( or main Pres. candidates) will get my vote come November. Just remember....Politicians will do what they want, when they want, and how they want to do it, with little reguard for the populace.

Most Americans won't even notice, they will just pay it. Won't be long after when the "Poop" Tax arrives. Can't win for loosing! ;D

It's so sad that Hillary dropped out. I was really looking forward to a  $10 a pack cigarette  tax.  After all,  it's  for the  chee-drins.

But there's always the global carbon tax. Terms such as "carbon foot prints,"  "carbon off-sets,"  and "global warming" (now called climate change so they can be right even with an ice age) are the sounds of sheep shears being sharpened.

I have always known that this global warming 'thing' will be the greatest portal for increasing and new taxation we have ever known.

Now for my prediction that will turn out to be 100% accurate. In my lifetime (I'm getting up there), the southwest U S A will go to court to try to get permission to tap into the Great Lakes water system. All of the 8 Great Lakes states have laws in effect that will prevent this. But surely, some insipid little federal judge (no doubt from the California 9th distric) will rule that "The Great Lakes belong to the whole U S! Permission granted!"

Any time the "do-gooders" start talking about the children I know I am getting the screws put to me. Its all about the rich getting richer and the powerful retaining their power. Everything else is a smoke screen. If they really cared about the children they would be shutting down the milk industry, not the tobacco industry. The 8 major industrialized nations in the world (other than us) have proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, homogenized and pasturized milk is the single greatest cancer causing product in use in the U.S.A.  We are the only country in the world with cancer clinics for children WHO DON"T SMOKE and the masses (lead by the do-gooders for the sake of our children)  aren't bright enough to figure that out? An idiot who is not afraid to speak up can lead educated gullable fools down a path to ruin and steal their wallets on the way.
Longnine I can tell you one thing, if Obama takes Hillary as a running mate he will be sealing his own fate in many ways. Given the choice between Hillary and a dead horse, well I would vote for the dead horse as I would know exactly what I am getting. Obama needs to understand thousands upon thousands of Demorcrats voted for HIM in an effort to get rid of her. If he picks her as a running mate most of them will vote Republican or not vote at all! Now she intends to campaign with Obama? How big a fool can one man be? Get her out of the picture and go on with the election as she will drag him down.

Goose,  The powers that be, governments and religion create constant diversions to keep the average individual thinking about every thing except the REAL truths. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know the attention span of the average voter and taxpayer. After a few days they settle down and accept that which threw them into turmoil and look for the next big issue to come along. Try and find the movie "Wag the Dog" if you can. I think most of them were PULLED of the shelves as they were too true to real life for those in power so they disappeared from most stores and movie rental outlets. One thing the big guys got is control of the media so they can pretty much manipulate whatever they please and, if need be, discredit the real truth at their discreation. They do it every day!

When you get to that level of power ANYTHING is possible. There would be NOTHING worse than having a VP that wanted your job worse than you did!!! If such a selection should take place, with the upcoming selection, I wouldn't expect to be in office more than 11 or 12 months before coming down with some SUDDEN ailement! There are a lot of nuts in the world who would do anything for "imagined" fame and to put their name in the history books forever! Chose wisely would be my suggestions to whomever gets the nominations for both parties. Then we Americans can vote for the rich crook of our choice!

And thinking of nuts that could go off, Cheney is Dr. Scary.

"We the People" are our own biggest enemy.  If we didn't insist on something for nothing or off-loading losses from our own screw-ups to someone else (a really popular theme these days) we wouldn't get the politicians we get. As a nation we get these pig-bags  because it's what we deserve to get--stale cakes and  circuses.

Having travelled to Eastern Europe where democracy is emerging, you can see the people genuinely appreciate what they have.  I do not think Americans do.  If it were not for my wife, we would very happily live very well on the Black Sea coast in Ukraine, one of the most beautiful places in the world, blessed with great summers, and beautiful scenery.  And a government that has much unrest, but things slowly surely getting better.  When we return in October I expect to see many changes from my last time there.  I wish I could say the same for America since we have been here.

Besides with a Prime Minister that looks like her, how can things possibly go wrong:

I wish.  Ukraine is the country that had it's gas shut off in the middle of winter a couple of years ago, by Russia.  Russia doesn't like any former USSR country that wants democracy and westernization. So Russia does whatever they can to be jerks.  Also do the same with Georgia and the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Speaking of Social Security, thank goodness we don't have to live on that.

As teachers, my wife and I get PERA (Public Employees Retirment Association) retirement payments.  Probably twice what SS would pay.  I remember two occasions, many years ago, where there was a push for SS to take over PERA.  We fought it, and we won.

I do get SS also.  But, due to a "windfall profit" provision I only get a fraction of what I should get.  I worked two jobs all my adult life, but the Government figures I should get full retirement benefits from only one.

Since the age of 62, I have been getting about $500 a month from Social Security.  I sure won't turn it down, but the "windfall" provision makes me ill.

 :) :) :) :)

I don't see any point into paying into SS, when it won't even exist when I can retire at age 70.  I am not even confident that there will be a viable US government then. :o

You are quite right, but it don't go all the way to 70 years of age for retirement. I believe it says that if you were born after Jan 1, 1960, your retirement age would be 67 years old.

Surely the government hopes nobody makes it to that old anymore, that is why they are filling us up with high fructose corn syrup, caffeine, and cigarettes. :o  Too many people are living to be too old, well for the social security system.  And the government ain't going to be able to take care of them all, gees, it cannot even take care of itself.  We cannot have purges, gulags, etc. and natural disasters don't kill off enough people, so we'll let them kill themselves slowly but surely.

After all these years Scottishmoney has given me the answer as to why the Federal Government and the American Medical Association has NOT banned homogenized and pasurerized milk in the U.S. They know, without a doubt of the danger, but fail to act on this single greatest cancer causing agent sold across the counter to any aged individual in the country. Even though our children are the first to be affected it is GREAT for research monies, donations and the medical industry. And, eventually he funeral industry! :'(
Never dawned on me folks just aren't dying fast enough to suit the government! Probably more truth to that than we will ever know!!! :o

How about encouraging beverage manufacturers to replace regular sugar with high fructose corn syrup by extending tax breaks for using it?  Pepsi every once in awhile comes out with limited edition cola with regular Louisiana cane sugar in it, and believe me, it tastes better.  HFCS is not good for you, and is largely blamed for the obesity epidemic in the USA.  HFCS doesn't affect me, since I rarely drink those beverages, preferring mostly tea, and plain old water.

I didn't get my stimulus check today but I did get CoinWorld and it looks like the Post office only fondled it for a week or so  before delivering it. So maybe things are looking up.

It is not an official fondling until it has coffee cup rings and creases in the pages.  That is why I cancelled National Geographic before they started putting them in plastic wrap, because I would get it sometimes weeks later than I should have, with coffee cup rings, creased pages, even the advert cards pulled out:)  How nice of them.

Speaking of the post office, here's a new one -- at least for me.

Went out to the mailbox today and found a brown PO envelope stating I owe 42 cents.  Why?  Well, a neighbor came by and left a small envelope in the box, containing an invitation.

Our letter carrier decided that we owed 42 cents.  After all, the invitation did reside in the mailbox for a few hours.

Normally I would just pay it and forget it, but not this time.  They'll have to wring their 42 cents out of my clinched fingers.

What a bunch of baloney.

 :) :) :) :)

What really amazes me about that story is that they did not waste $23.45 of salary time writing up a slip of paper which you had to spend some $4.00 for gas to drive to the post orafice for, to bail the invitation out of postal jail.  At least your postie trusts you, I got a slip at the PO box saying I had something with something like 10¢ due or something ridiculous, what a waste of time.  I could see if it were several dollars, but we are talking pennies here.

I found out last week that my stimulus check will be mailed out on July 11 and that I'm last on the list. Well if I'm last on the list then that means the party is almost over. So, what happened to the "stimulus?"  Is this some variation  of  monkey piss from above--("trickle down affect")  ??

I went into 7-Eleven this morning and they were selling Gator Aide two quarts for $3--in florida in July! Doesn't sound like a good sign for the construction industry to me.

Well we celebrated the 4th of July weekend with our "check" and made every effort to prop up the U.S. economy! Yup, got new mattress, box springs for me and mommy and a new bed and mattress for the little guy. (Took hours to put the darn thing together) And, of course, a few dollars HAD to go to our coin dealer as he needs a living too!!! ;D So now I am back to broke but sleeping like a million bucks! ;D

Your not going to believe this but two hours after I made the last post, the mail man showed up with the check and another letter saying the check had been mailed and I should receive by the 11th of July. And if I had not received it with in six weeks from the 11th I should contact them. I bet JP Morgan doesn't have to wait 6 weeks.

Oh yeah on the matter of weeks, and JP Morgan, it's been more than 29 days since the two plants "crafted"  a  30 billion dollar loan for Morgan  to buy Bear. Have they paid that back? Or will another wallstreet loss be socialized while their profits are privatized?

I don't see any point into paying into SS, when it won't even exist when I can retire at age 70.  I am not even confident that there will be a viable US government then. :o

well I am one of the last belgians that retired at 60 now it is 65 . And since I do not trust anybody I got my extralegal pension out of the american multinational and out of my bank and now I am holding it in clenched fists . I also got the english multinational pension out of the bank since getting them convicted by court in 2003 I allready got it out of their hands and into a government bank and now into my greedy little hands .

I read the book and just got the film Logan's Run . It is about a little paradise world that is kept a paradise by eleminating everybody at the age of 30 and it was filmed allready in 1976 . Nowadays it would not be a Science fiction film but a drama  ???

There was a  3rd party nut-job back in the 60's  who wasn't happy about all the water that comprised humans. Wonder what he had in mind?  Voters  were slightly saner back then so  he only got  about 15 votes.

Recycling humans may not be too far in the future with all those food shortages  ::)
I would prefer that over genetically manipulated crap ( Don't tell anybody I said that since I worked for a sistercompany for 23 years  ???

Anyways if you see they feed chickens illigally recycled transformator oil containing PCB's or fat from french frie makers and then feed the bones of those chickens to cows and then make the cows into cosmetics and meat (or is it the other way around ) and feed their bones to other cows etc and add Zincoxyde to keep them healthy and inject Bovine Somatropine to get more milk out of them ( whoops another sister company) and because of this they have increased mastitis and need antibiotics the residue of which we drink with our milk etc
And our consumer organisation advised not to eat fish more then twice a weak because of the mercury etc

I will stick to french cognac much safer  ;D

Yeah they torture  smokers  and gun owners while everything that you eat, drink or breath will kill you too. Assuming of course that the state that's shaking you down for "protection" money doesn't kill  you  first.

I found the article.  It's in the NUMISMATIST Nov/2004 by Ed Rochette

The candidate's name was Emil Matalik. You think they had it bad in Logan's Run? This is what Emil though about married couples:  "...They would be limited to two children, after which the fathers would have to submit to compulsory castration!"

There's quite a few link on this joker. Pick one if need a good laugh.

But last week I got a movie I have seen a few times A Clockwork Orange from Stanley Kubrick .I would have sworn that in the original version they burned the old drunk here they just beat him up . The oldest film I got is a black and white High Noon with Grace Kelly . This is the first film ever made that was synchronous that is movie time was the same as real time .
Last week I also got Omega man about the last man on earth after a war between Russia and China
and I have the Ultimate Warrior waiting with Yul Brynner . I like Sci Fi  ;D

I think, sooner or later, the whole world is going to find out about the huge pack of lies we have been fed all our lives. It won't be volunteered information from governments or religion but it will be brought on by unprecedented events world wide. The ruling rich will finally be in deep poo-poo and most of the science fiction movies we have watched will not be so far fetched when that time comes. If we all can just live long enough I think we will see things the government cannot cover up and religion will be at a loss for words!!! Its just a shame so many fools think the government can and will take care of them when hard times erupt! Nothing is free and thinking UNCLE Sam will help you out is a scary thought. I was always told, when it comes to money, leave the relatives OUT of it. Sorry Uncle Sam!!! ;D

Hey Longnine maybe we had better put up some blackberry preserves or something like that? Black market food will bring around $400 a jar. And even in the movie EVERYTHING was better than Soilent Green!!!

As a formerly religious, but still spiritual person, I believe that religions have caused more overall suffering, malevolent, and murderous behaviours than any other factor in all of human existence.

Many governments, including that of the USA, are merely tools for their dominant or not dominant but enemy religions.  Gees, even formerly Soviet Russia is beholden to the Russian Orthodox church, the government once more minds the clerics.  Meanwhile the USAsians are losing their freedoms because of Islamic fanatics, practising terrorism and stirring up popular activities such as the so referred to "Patriot Act" but would should be unconstitutional as a contravention of many of the Bill of Rights, and Amendments.

IMO, black markets in America will be a  slam-dunk, when everyone's job is out-sourced to some guy in Vietnam who works for rice.  Or some prisoner in china who works to keep his organs from being harvested.

What's going to keep people tethered to the system when the CEO just stole what's left of their 101k pension and they are told they have to work until they are 85 to get social security.

Even public school grads can figure out they are the  marks in the National Debt poker game.  Assuming that they survive the great boogie-man chase in Iraq  long enough to become  marks in anyone's poker game.

The biggest threat to the elites and status quo are people who question authority, are rebellious, independent, reactionary, contrarian, and sneer at herd behavior.   But now doesn't satan have those same traits? Maybe the big picture to keep  elites in power will be to stigmatize anyone who questions "their right" to rule as a satanist  "evil-doer-ers" (trying to spell it the same way DuhYa would without Laura to check his spelling) and turn religion against them?

I'd hoard 9mm bullets except Waco proved that's not a good idea in the land of "Liberty." Besides silver is easier to store,  doesn't spoil and if need be can be hidden down at the rail road tracks. Let's see them find the stash with a metal detector then.  Mental note: Don't let the MD20/20 crowd see me burying something.

Japan thought the same way in the 80's as we do now and they have been in a recession for close to 20 years.  Is there something that makes us smarter then them? Can't be our central bankers. I hear Ben is going to work now to clean up fraudulent lending practices in the mortgage industry. Geee Ben, a bit behind the curve aren't we?

It is good to see I am NOT alone in my thought process. Untold millions have died at the hands of religon and it continues today. I have said most of my life that "organized" movements are about having self appointed leaders, money and corruption. I am very spiritual person who finds it amazing that anyone, in this day and age, would PAY another man or woman to help them find their way into heaven?  :o  The human species is indeed a strange one and in many ways resemble a herd of sheep. Most don't want to lead but are willing to follow. Nothing is more dangerous than a fool who is not afraid to speak up in front of a crowd. As I have said many times before, "The masses claim they want to hear the truth but what they really want is to hear that which they perceive as truth. The real truth would scare the living daylights out of most people." Sooner or later the world is going to have to pay the piper and those who have lived their false dreams in politics and religion are going to be shocked into disbelief when truth comes riding in. Reality is not what it seems.

Longnine the governments and religions of the world have been using the word "radical" for years until Bush invented "evil doers". None the less the message is the same and the media tends to bow towards their masters (and owners) when it comes to printing or providing the truth. Guess we will all be classed as those coin collecting RADICALS when they come a knocking won't we? ;D

With all these trojans on my computer I'm surprised I'm not down at Guantanamo by the sea right now having my finger nails manicured with a pair a of vise grips. If they come for me, I don't care. I'd rather be dead then live in world with a bunch of scarred rabbits living on fear & worry rations.  Terrorists are not the biggest threat to the United States. They are a threat, but no more than they always were. The biggest threat are the Bilderbergs, and Religion both of whom are join at the hip with the "Patriot Act."

I agree entirely with your thoughts on reality.  Don't you just love to hear people talking about "my reality" or "the reality is" ? Like they have a 99 year lease on it or something? Reality exists independent of our fantasies and will do and be whatever it is  that it's suppose to do or be whether that happens to be agreeable to  us or not.

Religion doesn't teach reality, it blocks it. When religion decides  what is "evil" and then tells people not to be  "evil" people then separate themselves from part of themselves. And the worse part is they don't escape from their dark side  at all, they only see it  now in other people and things.  The proverbial "when you point your finger at someone you have three fingers pointing at yourself."  It's also THE SOURCE OF ALL CONFLICTS GREAT OR SMALL.  But somehow by splitting ourselves in two we are going to perceive reality "more betteror"? Yeah right, what kind of crack are they smoking?  Religion does have one thing right. "The end is near" if this country doesn't snap out of it.

My family was Catholic growing up, my siblings all went through Catholic education, on up through High School.  I never went to the Catholic Primary school like the rest, and when High School came up, I shot down my pre-admission interview by claiming myself as an avowed Socialist, and that I advocated overthrow of the government by force if necessary. :o  Afterwards I regretted doing that, damn they had some gorgeous girls in the school across the street, and many of the classes were co-ed by then.

So back to the siblings.  As noted all went through good Catholic schools, non of them ever married, a couple of them have never worked, a couple have children out of marriage, and none went to church ever again.  And one of them lost his life due to his poor life's decisions.

As for me, I have been successful financially, have been married over 12 years, have kids in wedlock and still believe in a spiritual force, just not the Catholic one.  So going back to that pre-admission interview, thank you Higher Power, I missed out on the young virgins in the girls school across the street, but in life ever afterwards I have succeeded.

The corporate Titans, and their political puppets in Washington are our worst enemies.  If you want the real power in the USA, it is Halliburton, Blackwater, Exxon-Mobil etc.

I thought it was Hail-Burton?

Things might start to get a bit interesting in the middle east now with Iran's latest missile test. I really don't think Israel is going to sit around waiting to  be "annihilated." I don't think they are going to put a lot of faith in bush promises either. What's he going to fight Iran with--Erik the Prince and his Blackwater thugs? And since the Arab countries never sold Israel oil in the first place I can't think of any reason why they might care if oil wells in the middle east are glowing in the dark.

But  China might care since they have large purchasing contracts with Iran. And 1.3 trillion in U.S wallpaper that they can dump on the market if they are displeased about something.

It's stuff like this that makes me wish I had 10,000 ounces of silver.  :(

One small addition to the movie topic.

Maybe my sense of humor is unique, but one of the funniest Westerns I ever watched is named "Rustler's Rhapsody."  If it doesn't make you laugh, I don't know what will.

It's one of the few moves I could watch over, and over, and over, and over...

 :D :D :D :D

Don't forget  Blazing Saddles. I always thought that  was the classic comedy western.   ;D  Also liked  Cat Balou--Lee Marvin and Jane Fonda before she became a traitor. And  The  Duchess and the Dirtwater Fox--George Segal and Goldie Hawn

Thanks for the info
I saw Cat Balou three times on TV but could not remember the name . I absolutely have to get that one .

The others I saw except I cannot remember Rustlers Rhapsody allthough Belgian TV bought and broadcasted all the American westerns I can think off . I just got the Day of the Triffids by Wyndham film and TV series

Oh by the way ; I married a catholic girl in 1971 and am still married to her . They are so used to church authority you only have to train them to live up to their vows  8)

The greatest western of all times was Blazing Saddles by Mel Brooks.

The scene where Slim Pickens said, " Allright boys lets go into town and Rape the women, steel the horses and kill the men.....And for God's sake let's get it right this time." Has to be the funniest one liner I've ever seen on the silver screen.

I loved Blazing Saddles and Rustlers' Rhapsody, but Rustlers' Rharsody remains my favorite.

Well I went back to the coin shop AGAIN today and then loaded up with TKO for a trip to a hobby shop! I should have stayed home on both trips!!! Brought some unc. Morgans home for both my wife and I and yes I found homeless buffalos there as well. And the hobby shop pretty much cleaned both TKO and myself out for the week. Now if the thunderstorms and flood warnings will DISAPPEAR again we can return to the sky so I can further my training in crashing a remote control plane. I am really good at that aspect of the routine!

You know I saw planes today that will travel over 80 miles per hour! :o I am not sure I could think faster than the plane was moving? Probably be a real short flight!!! ::)
