Dated 12/4/38 (12th April). Pick #47. Not too scarce.

KoCT #21

The early bird gets the worm, sure, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

If it is so common why did I never see it ?  ;D

Because I was born in 1947 and my father never had more then a few francs at the time he was hammering copper cooking utensils
Afterwards he got smart and went to work for the railroad being the only one able to repair hydrolic shockabsorbers  :D

It was long out of circulation by then, replaced by a coin.  BTW Belgian Railways had lovely steam locomotives until they were replaced by the electrics.

Yes we had a hundred or so free tickets and I remember going to the seaside like 80 minutes by train and then at the seaside to church and then an afternoon at the beach
Those trains had very little double sidewise sliding windows and when the wind was wrong the ash and unburned coal would drift in and everybody would curse me for opening them

I think those trains were replaced mostly by Diesel engines and probably only later by electric trains
I wanted some of thos locomotives but Marklin was so expensive we could not afford them  :-[

On ebay it would be presented as very RRRRRRRRRR and then go 25 cents
After all every week on ebay they are selling Gold Carolus coins from Belgium as rare to very rare
There are only 1 500 000 coins for 11 million Belgians so that seems to be the rare standard
By that standard the note has to be extremely rare  ;D
