Anyone heard from Amr?
January 13, 2014, 07:58:49 PM
I haven't seen Amr around the forums lately, so I sent him an e-mail a few days ago, but have not received a reply.
Just a bit concerned as there was some violence at a university in Egypt and I'm sure he works in a Uni.

Anyone heard from him?

Still no reply from Amr and he hasn't been active on here of other forums, that I know of, since mid December.

Hello everyone,

I am still alive :)
Egypt has been through a lot the past couple of months .... many terrorist attacks and bombs exploding every other day. The street i live in has seen some violence with the terrorists, the police special forces have managed the situation several times. Everything has became peaceful again for the last week and i hope it stays but since we are heading for the presidential elections i think the terrorists will try to disturb it in a way or another but hope the police and the army will be able to stay in control.

Regrading me and my family, Since the first of January, my Mom had two thrombi and she had to be hospitalized for two weeks. I had to stay with her all the time as she couldn't move out the bed for any reason.  After she left the hospital and the doctors said that she can go home, my Aunt had a brain stroke and she passed away.
The second day my Uncle had a cardiac thrombus and he had to do two surgeries, followed by a heart failure but he is recovering now and the doctors say that if everything stays well he will be able to leave the hospital tomorrow.

My wife and children are well (Thank GOD) and i am back home with a terrible back ache and a swollen knee. I have some difficulties in walking with my right leg and i am posting now from my bed. :)

But i am still alive and kicking :)

Thank you all for your concern

Amr :) :) :)

I hope you have good health cover. MRI would cost us a lot of money if we didn't have health cover.

My dog is at the oncologist today, he has cancer. :(
I didn't get pet insurance, so I cop the full bill.
Expecting it to be about $1300.
Already paid out over $1000 for blood tests, x-rays and ultrasounds.
He is our fur child so I don't mind a bit. What ever it cost to save or
extend his life.
