Goose is back, and a little birdie tells me he managed to pick up some coins on his cruise.

Waiting now to see the pics.  ;D

Yeah, I'm back.....from an average of 76 F (24 C) sunny days to a -2 F (-19 C) cloudy morning. I picked up a few nice Aussie & N Z coins, AND went to Ballarat and area (Sovereign Hill gold mining reconstructed city) and watched a gold pour. The guy let me hold the 60 oz bar after cooling.....worth $100,000 at the time ($1667/oz on Feb 8th as the guy told me). I would have run with it, but it was 88 F (31 C) outside and I sweat too easily. On the way back to Melbourne, the bus driver showed us where that 12 lb gold nugget was found in Ballarat....in a busy section in a vacant lot.

Hey Goose. Don't want to rub it in, but guess who got an upgrade on their cruise.
We were upgraded to one of the best suites on the ship. Free access to the mini bar
and fresh fruit and canapes everyday. We had the equivalent of a $15,000 cruise
for only $6,000. Great!

I'm glad you were upgraded. And all of those extras? I was wondering why that cruise line's stock dropped so much during the last few  weeks. Then in the W S J, I saw a small article from the cruise line's C E O stating: "Restocking mini-bars in the suite rooms on the Fiji cruise several times a day was a blow we didn't expect."
