Very nice coin, Joe.
Prices on printers are cheap now. If you run out of ink, it's cheaper to replace the printer, than to but new ink cartridges.
Put the program to minimum ink , minimum drying time, black only and then remove the color cartridge
because behind your back the program will use blue or red to make black look very black ; even in black only and the color cartridge costs you very much and it will be gone before u can use it .
Since I did all that my HP printer 960c lasts a full year on a black only cartridge .
You may also consider buying a printer that has all colors seperate instead of in one cartridge or a printer that will accept refilled cartridges
I have a canoscan 8800f photoscanner. A combination of scanner and printer will never give you the best performance ( only important if you are a perfectionist or live with your scans while the coins are in a bankvault )
