I read a story yesterday that basically said all circulating U.S. coins would be facing design changes over the next few years. They want to change Washington's protrait on the quarter and then move on with all others. It also mentioned changing the Silver Eagle design which was getting old at 25 years? (I could live with a silver Buffalo) This, in my mind, is another attempt by those in power to halt traditions in this country as they move forward with a new master plan which we the masses are unaware of. I feel they are about to destroy the old in an effort to make room for the new is now bearing down upon us. The next few years could get very interesting! One thing is for certain---they are not going to do this for the coin collectors. Make real ugly money and they will be ready for something new and exciting?
