WELL ELVIS WOULD HAVE BEEN 75 TODAY---IT IS HIS BIRTHDAY--I BELIEVE THE SONG OF HIS "ARE YOU LONESOME TONIGHT?"--WOULD BE APPROPRIATE
IT IS UNBELIEVABLE HOW MUCH HIS ESTATE HAS MADE SINCE HE PASSED AWAY---YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU--BUT IT SURE HELPS TO BE A CLOSE RELATIVE OR FRIEND WHEN A WEALTHY PERSON PASSES ON....

His estate makes more money now per year than any year that Elvis worked. Become famous, make a lot of money, die at 42 yrs old of drugs, and then let your relatives live happily ever after.......doesn't sound too swift to me.

January 14, 1871 Belgium disbands salt tax.

Posted this one for PYW, to see if he remembered when it happened.

Nope did not
But we started out with all the Napoleonic laws
So it is still illigal to transport less then 3 bottles of whiskey ( 2 liters )
and it is still illigal to throw mud at any spring equipped carosses
and the verdict on my lawsuit I won when I was sitting in my car and a woman totalled it by rearending me
the verdict still said she had her transport or horses not under control and she was unlikely to be a recidivist

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know
All I know is that I'am on my way
