I have been in Ukraine a week now, internet access for me is still spotty at home, supposed to have it, but it is a pain in the bum to get reliable service. Crazily I can take my laptop to the MacDonalds and sip on black tea and surf the net.
I love Ukraine, land of much of my family, and land where I can eat raspberry this and that to my heart's content. Gees, I can even buy raspberry juice and soda. I eat raspberry bread, raspberry yogurt and raspberry candy. The weather here has been great until today, usually sunny and +18 or so, but today it is about +13 and rainy.
I am starting to slip on my Russian, frankly some Ukrainian words are easier than Russian, and I am letting them slip into my vocabulary. We had a great visit to Amsterdam on the way to home here last week, saw a small Rijkmuseum exhibit at Schiphol.
My youngest daughter is becoming a bit of a flirt here, like now she wants boyfriend Sasha or Ilya or something. Gees, the four year old is a princess.
