I usualy don't like it when people mess with the Jeffersons but I've got to say this one is really nice. You should see if Daniel Carr could make us some more.

He's made one hundred of these already, and the first die is beginning to fail. Nickel is a very hard metal.

Check out the die crack. It's too ironic isn't it? Thom Jefferson surely would "crack up" if he was alive today to see how things turned out. I love die cracks! I ordered two of them. If Daniel is striking these to order maybe I got the first cud from that die?

Yes, the early ones started with the vertical die crack, then later ones developed the cud. Read about here it in his catalogue page for Hard Times Tokens:
