WELL THE UNITED STATES AND TO SOME EXTENT CANADA--HAD OPENING DAY FOR THE SPORT OF BASEBALL AND AS COLD AS IT HAS BEEN DETROIT HAD A BEAUTIFUL--SUNNY WARM DAY AND THE TEAM WON THE OPENER---SO WE MAY HAVE BROKEN THE BACK OF WINTER BUT I SAY THIS WITH CAUTION BECAUSE ONE WARM DAY CAN BE FOLLOWED BY COLD AND SNOW................HOPE IT STAYS THOUGH..................

Our football season has just started over here and our state (Western Australia) is off to a great start.
We have only two teams and they are 1st and 2nd on the ladder at the moment. If they are still there
after round 6, then round 7 will be the decider, as that is when they play each other.
Baseball is not big in Aus, it hardly even cracks a mention on T.V.
