Mid-Minnesota = Had our 10th annual FALL coin show today.....very well attended. Come Apr 3, 2011 we'll hold our 40th annual SPRING show. I've only been a member for around 20 yrs.

Goose 'harvesting' was nil yeaterday morn and evening and tonight with clear skys and temps around the mid 70s.

My SUV just turned 23K miles today (36.8k km) and was purchased new 12-31-09.

Cigarettes in N Y city are around $10.50 a pack now, as I heard. Here - $5.40/pack. Oh those N Y politicians!!!!

Have a chance to buy an 1850 French 5 Franc coin in VF to XF....(90% silver - .7234 ASW - 14.6 KK minted) from a buddy. What would be a fair price to pay him? What should the real value be?  Goose

Joe, spring down under is just fine. A little cold in the mornings because of clear skies, but warming up nicely during the day.
2c minimum this morning and had ice on the car, but about 23c maximum.

Goose, cigarettes in West Aussie are about $18 a pack of 50.

Aussie dollar at about 93c U.S. , we might overtake you shortly.

Thanks for the info PYW....there is an 'A' mintmark on the coin, and the condition of the one I'm interested in is just slightly better.
