Booga robbed
July 10, 2010, 01:34:51 AM
I have just received word from Booga's Mum, that there house has been burgled and Booga had lost all her coins. :( :( :(
Booga is devistated, I know she truly loved her coins, especially the ones she received from Knights previously.
I will be going through my collection and passing on many of my duplicates.
If anyone else is able to help it would be much appreciated. PM me and I will pass on the address.
Thank you.

I'm not familiar with Booga's collecting. What types of coins did Booga collect? I can help.

Thanks Guys, really appreciate the help.  :) :) :)
Booga collects world wide, so any coins and notes would be great.
Might be better to send them to my work PO box,
it will be safer.

Who's Booga? I can send her a silver KOTCT 2009 Medallion if no one opposes such a gift and throw in a few other coins as well. Any friend of yours is a friend of mine. Tell her to hang in there, join KOTCT if she isn't already here under another name, and we will take care of her.

Booga is already a Knight.  She joined a little over a year ago, but I think her access to a PC is a bit of a drawback. I think she's around 11 - 12 yrs young.

I totally support the idea of Twoshadows sending her a Silver 2009 KOTCT Medallion.  I'm sure she'll be absolutely thrilled to receive it.  8)

I plan on putting together a selection of Aussie coins to send over to her soon.  ;)

We need to encourage any potential numismatists to stick with it and it seems to me that with all the offers of help so far, she will pretty soon have another collection to replace the one that was stolen.  :)  ;D

It's taking me MUCH longer than anticipated to sort through and catalogue my collection, but I'll definately have some world coins that I can send her - they will be well circulated - hope that is ok.

I really appreciate all your help, Guys. I gave her a kilo of coins today and the smile on the face is reward enough.
Twoshadows, the gift of a silver KOTCT medal would be great , thank you.
Nevol, you have a good memory, PC access is a major hurdle for Booga.

It's a really bad thing but it looks like some Knights are going to have to pay Templar a little visit and talk to him about his drinking. ??? He is having way too much fun without the rest of us.  ;D  ;D

Humpybong, your package arrived today. Thank you very much.
I have passed it on to Booga and she said to say, thank you.
Unfortunately, at this stage, she still has no internet connection and is unable
to come here and thank you personally.
